I came in to Hyundai of Orange Park after doing as much research on cars as I possibly could, knowing exactly what I wanted. I had spoken to Carl on the phone prior to our appointment and found him to be j research on cars as I possibly could, knowing exactly what I wanted. I had spoken to Carl on the phone prior to our appointment and found him to be just as friendly, respectful and helpful in person. He (and his manager) did everything they could to help me get exactly the car I wanted at an excellent price. I walked away...no...drove away...feeling exhilarated with my purchase (oh, I got the sonata limited by the way...I pretty much feel like its the most spectacular car ever...did I just stand at my kitchen window this morning with my coffee and stare out at my beautiful new sonata limited? Most definitely!) I had nightmares about what my car buying experience would be like and prepared to go head to head with pushy, haggling, deceitful salesmen to get the deal I wanted....how disappointed I was after all that mental preparation to be treated with respect and kindness by Carl and his colleagues, have him listen to my requests, have a quick chat with his manager, and done! I had my self a new Sonata! I also liked that the manager's desk was there out in the open, where they were friendly and approachable, not hiding behind some curtain like the wizard of oz. Hyundai of Orange Park definitely has a customer for life. I have already told people about my awesome experience there. If you want to buy a Hyundai (which I would think you do since you are reading these reviews) go to OP and ask for Carl. He will work with you to get you a great deal and let you test drive car after car, stand out in the sizzling heat with you while you oscillate between cranberry, ice blue, midnight blue, pewter, then tan, gray or black interior...then he'll go out with you one more time just to be sure...then test drive it again to be double sure. It really was a great experience. I'm off to drive my new midnight blue sonata limited with gray interior to...well...I'll think of somewhere...really I just want to drive it! More
They were very friendly and helpful with the purchases of both our cars. The only issue I had was that we got a better deal on the second car purchased instead of on both cars. When looking for a new hyundai, the people at Hyundai or Orange park helped both me and my mom find cars quickly and got us both into cars that we love for the price we needed. I went to Hyundai of Orange Park because their website showed they had 7 cars like the one I wanted and when I got to the dealership I was driven to another dealership because the type of car I was lookin showed they had 7 cars like the one I wanted and when I got to the dealership I was driven to another dealership because the type of car I was looking at was down the road due to them moving cars around. They had 3 of the cars I was looking for not 7. I was told the website is only updated weekly. We went back to the dealership and the sales person got lost, so my husband and I went to the back lot to look for ourselves. The inventory manager finally got involved and stated their internet was down and they couldn't look up to see if there were any of the cars I wanted near by. The inventory manager then left to talk to the manager on duty and after 10 minutes my husband and I got up to leave. The sales man said he was sorry and got our information and would call when their internet was back up. At that point the inventory manager then came up and said they found two and possible three cars. They said they could ship them in for me and it would take 3-5 days and since the were having to get it from another dealer they wouldn't have any wiggle room on the price. My husband and I decided to leave because we don't like people playing games with us and this is exactly what they did (not to mention the CU I work at works with them often and I mentioned I worked there and was still treated this way). I came home Friday night to find two of the cars I wanted at Hyundai of St. Augustine - I called over and spoke to someone who went and checked to make sure the both cars were there and the ones I wanted. I went down Saturday morning and purchased my new car. I have yet to hear back from Hyundai of Orange Park...very unhappy considering my husband and I just leased a car from them two months ago. More
Me and my wife was undecided the first time we were at this dealership. Barry, with his soft spoken and respectful demeanor, introduced us to the Sonata. He took his time explaining all the features this car has to offer even amidst a very crowded showroom. It seemed like a no brainer but I still wanted to test drive the Fusion. We left the showroom and Barry humbly obliged. We ended up purchasing a used fusion at another dealership which turned out to be a nightmare. I discovered it was in an accident and so started miserable back and forth dealings between myself and the unnamed dealership. Barry called to follow up with me and I told him what happened. He continued to call me during the week to check up and reassure me. It takes a grand person to continue to call and follow up even after I made a purchase elsewhere. Ultimately, I was able to return the tainted Fusion and that weekend we were back again at Orange Park. This time around we arrived early to avoid the afternoon rush. Barry was happy to see us again for round 2! He showed us the other trims and was not overtly talkative during the test drives. This allowed us to think and formulate opinions without being distracted or redirected. Not one bit pushy, me and my wife did not feel we were rushed into the sale. On the contrary his knowledge and enthusiasm for Hyundai left us empowered on our decision to purchase a great vehicle. Not much negotiation occured since he quickly matched a quote and threw in great extras. He explained all the details of the warranty crystal clear. Me and my wife felt Barry was out to ensure we had a great experience and leave with utmost satisfaction. Next time your shopping for a Hyundai, go to Orange Park and ask for Barry. He is not your typical salesman. You will be treated like family. Oh, ask about his mouth-watering bbq burgers! More

Being a single female buying a car all alone for the first time, I thought I would try getting it via the Internet. I was a bit apprehensive about doing it but Steve Morrison at Hyundai of Orange Park made it a pleasant friendly experience. He explained everything in detail, answered all my questions and told me exactly what I needed to do. He told me the price was dealer cost plus 500 and gave me a choice of cars available. He also told me the rebates currently offered as well as all the financing options I had. But what impressed me most was that he even came and picked me up so I wouldn’t have to wait for a ride. I have every intention of buying my next car with Steve and Hyundai of Orange Park. I have already told several of my co-workers to go see Steve. More
My family and I were driving back to Wisconsin in June of 2010, when my 2002 Santa Fe started to "nose down" while traveling on the highway. We stopped at another dealership and although their service dept was closed they pulled the code on my vehicle and gave us a dealership that was open. We called ahead to Hyundai of Orange Park and let them know what was going on. Upon arriving they pulled the code and fixed the issue....or so we all thought. We left the dealership about 30 minutes before they closed and started back on our way to Wisconsin, only to get 10 minutes away and started having the same problem. We called back to the dealership and let them know we were on our way back. We got back there and they pulled the code and it was the same failure. This is all on Saturday, we had to work on Monday and it is 20 hours back to home for us. Leanne and Mike were wonderful to us. They got right back to work on my SUV. After several hours of troubleshooting they still could not find out what exactly was going on. Mind you it is now way after closing time for them and here they are working tirelessly so that my family and I could make it back to Wisconsin by Monday and return to work. Mike called in another tech, who was already at home for the day, at about 8 P.M. They finally found the issue in a wiring harness that runs the sensor that was coding out as bad. At about 11 P.M. we started on our drive home. This is THE BEST service I have ever received. Mike missed his child's b-day party all to get me and mine home. Oh and did I mention that they did not charge us another penny. You are the greatest. More
I have had many cars but this one by far was the best. From the moment we met Steve Morrison he listened to us and what we were looking for and never tried to deviate from what we wanted.
