HE SHOULD REALLY BE FIRED!! he is rude disrespectful and as a member of the armed forces i have never been disrespected in such a manner..he made a few errors on his end and instead of communicating with me like a proffessinal he harrased me and my boyfriends phone left very rude text messsages hat i have all stored in my phone just made my experience horrible he even threatened to take my car..i dont undersand why he works there..I am in recruiting for the armed forces and sales closing is the most important part of a purchase he instilled nothing but buyers remores in me..i am currently in the process of getting things worked out with other very helpful members of the hyundai team at orangepark location..i just hope not to see or even deal with greg ever again. He is the sole reason why i cant put 5 stars all across the board. More
Hyundai of Orange Park - 2nd car purchase My husband and I just bought our 2nd car from Carl Morgan at Hyundai of Orange Park. This time we traded our 2012 Sonata for the new and improved 201 My husband and I just bought our 2nd car from Carl Morgan at Hyundai of Orange Park. This time we traded our 2012 Sonata for the new and improved 2015 Sonata. We love it! We loved the 2012 model but this 2015 is even better. Carl is easy to work with and it was a no nonsense deal. I would rate his follow up as a 10. They are always busy here and the reason is the friendly welcome and great service everyone gets when shopping at this location. We will be back when we are ready to make our next purchase. More

Extended Warranty (and regular warranty) Scam I was foolish enough to buy the extended warranty from a very high pressure "finance manager" who looked ready to have stroke at any moment. I was to I was foolish enough to buy the extended warranty from a very high pressure "finance manager" who looked ready to have stroke at any moment. I was told by him that every other service/oil change would be free. The regular price was $49.99, about the same as Jiffy Lube x2. And the first one was free. But when I came in for the second one I was told it be $129.99 but that included tire rotation and inspection. Yes $130.00 for an oil change and tire rotation! I protested and was told that if I didn't get the service done my warranty might be voided. I said, "but the tires are covered by the tire maker, right?" He said, "well, yeah". The nerve of these jerks! So unless you agree to be robbed at every oil change I suppose they will try to void all warranty's. Also, whatever "rating service" they use called me about my "experience" before I even got to the finance manager. I asked to be called later, but was never called. Obviously they want you "asked" BEFORE you have any experience with the Service Department. More

Bait and switch I was given an out the door price over the phone while looking for vehicles. The salesman said the price was out the door and perfectly friendly when I was given an out the door price over the phone while looking for vehicles. The salesman said the price was out the door and perfectly friendly when speaking to him over the phone. I explained that I would be driving from out of town and I would not drive if the price was not out the door and was assured it was. Upon arrival, salesman had the car waiting and the test and pre-sales experience was excellent. Once the price started to be discussed, the price was raised by 3K!! Basically, this dealership tried every slimy trick (you only typically hear about) in the book. Offered $200 for a trade in that I got $1500 elsewhere on; I politely declined. Played games with the numbers and hid/renamed fees to get me to agree to purchase. I am 100% sure that the salesman left the desk phone speaker on to listen to my conversation while out of the room ( speaker feedback bc his cell was left sitting next to the receiver and he miraculously came in with a new offer that was what I had told my partner I would likely agree to). I, believe it or not, agreed to purchase and started signing. After the 1st round of signatures, I was told that the dealership was purchasing my car for $700 and he wanted my key. This is when I had had enough. I said no and that I had not been made aware of that prior to the start of signature and looked the salesman directly in the eye and said that I had hoped he had not been aware of it and chose to mislead me just to get me to sign. This was the last time I saw my salesman. The next person who came into the room was a finance man who would not sit down, but stand threateningly over my partner and I who were seated. I chose to leave. As we left the dealership at 10:30 pm to drive 1hr+ home (remember I told salesman over the phone that I would not drive if the price was not an out the door price) the finance man spoke to my back the entire time warning me of the mistake I was making, telling me that I should not leave bc I was making a mistake and he knew I was, and so on and so forth--somewhat threatening when you've said no and we're done and someone is less than two feet from your turned back almost whispering in your ear that you're making a grave mistake.... Needless to say, I did not purchase from this awful dealership. I say dealership bc I believe wholeheartedly that it is a culture, not just a bad salesman. I neglected to mention that both salesman and finance guy said the car dealership was on of many that was under the same owner and if I didn't want this car, they could sell me any number of cars from any of their other lots. There were too many similarities in the way the salesman and finance guy acted to have it not be a culture of the dealership rather than a single person. I went to my hometown dealership, Hyundai of St Augustine, the very next day and bought the same year and make (better package) for the price that I was looking for in the first place. I also was able to trade my car in for far closer to what it was worth, wasn't made to feel threatened, and had a fantastic, all around experience. I got 3 phone all's from Hyundai of Orange Park in the 48 hrs after my initial visit. I explained my experience in the 1st phone call and also requested to not be contacted again. Surprise, surprise!! The dealership couldn't even respect my request to not be contacted again. I fully intend to continue to share my beyond negative experience at Hyundai of Orange Park. In addition to that, I will also share my complete opposite, very positive experience at Hyundai of St Augustine. I intend to share both experience through word of mouth and through social media.
