I appreciated the fact that he listened and investigated what we wanted, instead of trying to sell us a car. My wife and I felt very comfortable and NOT rushed in any way or form. His knowledge of the vehicle was very good and he answered all of our questions. I can't say enough about this experience, but for anyone who hates going to the showroom to discuss the details of buying (leasing) a car, as my much wife does, she was entertained and almost happy being there, which made the experience even better for me. I am a mother of three with kidney disease, my family went in looking for an older third row so we can expand our family one last time before my kidney medication. We were told they could get us into a new 2013 Santa Fe, the brand new third row .we fell in love with it. They said we were approved, but we noticed the address and my husbands cell number was wrong on the paperwork, so we called and called and showed up three times to the car lot after four almost five days of having the car they tell us the bank "fell through" and new paperwork had to be signed anyways that's when they would fix the errors they made. We decided enough jacking us around, and went back down to get our truck that was a trade in, even with the contract being void they made it hard for us to even get our Az license back to our truck and they stole our custom floor mats and we had to call the police, we ended up with our truck back with the license and NO floor mats but I will keep fighting until I get them back. Turns out we were a victim of a yo-yo scam or also called a spot delivery, making us believe we were approved before we even were. BUYER BEWARE !!!! Don't let this happen to anyone else More
After my car was totaled in a car wreck I was in need of a new vehicle. Shawn Couch made it so easy with regards to price and he made it very pain free. This was my first car purchase ever and a very big purchase in my life so far, Shawn Couch came to greet us upon the first visit and was very helpful with all of my questions and pointed me into the r purchase in my life so far, Shawn Couch came to greet us upon the first visit and was very helpful with all of my questions and pointed me into the right direction for what I was looking for and needing in a vehicle. He allowed me to test drive a SanteFe 2.0T for as long as I need the first time. I had to go back a second time just to make sure it was right, and he allowed me to take it for a day (he trusted me that much, lol) and drive it around just so I could be sure it was the car for me. Being a first time buyer I was a little nervous going into the entire process, but with Shawn it was a great experience. Wish I had thought about Hyundai's first. This is the first car, first anything I have ever financed. So naturally I was nervous, working with Mr. Couch put me at ease. I was very comfortable, any question I had was answered. The engine air filter is due to be changed on my 2012 Veloster. I try to handle simple maintenance myself. Air filters are only a popping a few clips and opening a cover. I prefer to use OEM/factory parts on my cars. Like most, being cost conscious, I checked online to see what these filters should cost. But I called my local dealer to purchase the filter because I believe in supporting local businesses and helping the local economy. The guy at the parts counter told me the cost was $35. Shocked, I asked "The list(aka full retail) price for the filter is $20, why are you charging so much over the retail price?". His response was "I don't know, it's what they have in the computer" Needless to say, I bought the OEM filter from a Hyundai dealer that sells online for slightly less than retail. I will pay more to buy something from a local business up to a point. But I can't afford to do that when the cost is Grossly Inflated as it was by Hendrick Hyundai North. Shame on you Hyundai North More
