I see a number of great reviews, so I am very surprised with my experience. However, I inquired about a vehicle posted on Car Gurus. The price on the internet was $15,500. When I asked for an OTD price, there was almost $900 of hidden fees. They tried to convince me this was standard industry practice to advertise one price and then change it when you get to the dealership. However, it feels like a bait and switch. I contacted two other dealerships about their vehicles, and their internet price was the actual price, no hidden fees. In fact, I bought a beautiful vehicle from Brandon Auto mall with more bells and whistles for $14,700. I just wanted to make everyone aware of the hidden fees so you don’t drive over to the dealership only be disappointed/frustrated. I am sure the dealership will have some response to explain why this not a bait and switch. You be the judge. More

We had bought a new 2020 Palisade from Hyundai NPR and had a wind noise coming from the driver's door, so, we brought it back to our dealer. Our service advisor Lily said they'd have to have a body shop had a wind noise coming from the driver's door, so, we brought it back to our dealer. Our service advisor Lily said they'd have to have a body shop check it out. Turns out the door wasn't aligned correctly with the door latch which had to be replaced. Since the car was so new the latch would have to be ordered and take 3 to 4 days. Lily kept us updated every step of the way. When the part arrived Lily said the body shop had damaged the outer window reveal molding while they were aligning the door and that it would have to be ordered as well. That was it we were stuck with a small rental car and had family coming in this week which would have been 2 weeks without our car being fixed. So we went to Hyundai and talked to JV the asst service manager. When he heard our dilemma he talked with Lily who filled him in what happened. Then JV said he'd have them take the moulding that we needed off of his own vehicle which just happened to be a 2020 Palisade like ours! This gentleman went beyond our expectations as does Lily our service advisor! After they installed the moulding Travis the shop foreman went with us to test the car for wind noise. We could only do 60 mph in town so Travis said when we go out on the interstate to check it then at 70-75 mph and if we hear any noise to bring it back and let him know as he had also ordered a window run in case which would help alleviate the problem as well. With a staff like that it's no wonder that Hyundai has such a reputation. Ditto to Hyundai, JV, Lily, Travis and Jeff (our sales rep) for taking care of us like family! More

The actual purchase experience was good, my salesman DJ was very helpful and couldn't have been nicer. Bree from the internet team was actually the reason we drove over from St. Petersburg. We got good deals on the cars, I'm satisfied with the price. The managers we worked with were actually great, not too pushy and really wanted to work with us. The whole process took about 6 hours which is a lot when you arrive at the dealership with the cars already picked out, but it was Black Friday so I'm willing to cut some slack. Service after the sale is why the rating is only 3 stars. I refinanced both cars and have been trying to get a refund on my GAP insurance. I've left 3 messages and nobody from the finance team will call me back. This tells me the dealer only cares about you until they have your money. I'm a loyal Hyundai customer and these are our 7th and 8th Hyundai purchases since 2013. I will continue to be a Hyundai customer but I will go back to the dealership where I purchased the other 6 cars when we are ready to trade again in a couple of years. More

We didn't get that respect at all from 8 other new car dealers we went to. We went there looking at new vehicles and ended up trading in our truck in on a new 2020 hyundai sonata se. It was a deal we couldn't turn down, honestly !! No other dealer we went to, couldn't touch hyundai of new port richey's deal. We love the deal we got and love our new 2020 hyundai sonata. We love the sales people that took care of us as well. They are richie, dan, and amos and Mark in finance. Great people ! So before you shop for a new vehicle anywhere else, go to hyundai of new port richey. You'll see what I am talking about. It costs nothing to stop in there to look around. And you'll save thousands of dollars off your new car there. That's well worth it ! When you stop in tell them Larry and Vicky haswell from spring hill told you to stop in. More
