We test drove a Hyundai Palisade & Nissan Pathfinder. The Palisade rode smoother, offered a higher trim package for the same cost and offered a longer warranty than the Nissan. My wife has owned nothing but Nissans her entire life, still she couldn't get the Palisade off her mind so we decided to go with the Palisade. She decided she wanted the Hyundai Palisades XRT trim package and that turns out to be like searching for a unicorn! There are none to test drive and there are deposits on cars sight unsceen before they arrive at the dealerships. Cynthia & the team at Hyundai of Metarie really went the extra mile to get this car for us, honestly the went the extra 700+ miles finding this car in the Tampa area and making a trade with a dealer down there to get my wife the exact trim package she wanted. This process was about making us happy customers from start to finish and they succeeded! Cynthia really wanted to surprise my wife when the car arrived back in Metairie, my wife thought we were going to pick it up that night after work. Cynthia had the car detailed, got the big bow and brought it to my wife's office and parking it outside so when she walked out there it would be. It was a great surprise & again, Cynthia was going the extra mile! If you're in the market for a Hyundai go see Cynthia Rico at Hyundai of Metairie and she what she can do for you! More
My past experiences with this dealership were great, I actually bought 4 cars from here. It seems the past 2 to 3 years management has changed and the customer service went out the window. Oh they are ext actually bought 4 cars from here. It seems the past 2 to 3 years management has changed and the customer service went out the window. Oh they are extremely nice when selling you a car but customer service is gone after that. The service department and general manager insinuated that my car had been damaged and that I changed my bumper because they couldn't find a vin# on the bumper. Instead of taking care of a valued customers. they don't care and let me leave unsatisfied. I recommend Ray Brandt or Hyundai of Slidell before I would buy from here. Your actions just caused you to loose a customer for life! More

In December, I was having trouble with my car driving sluggishly and making a rattling noise when accelerating. The issue was a clogged catalytic converter, but the dealership misdiagnosed it first as a faulty alternator, which I spent $600 at their dealership to replace. The problems persisted, so I paid $200 for diagnostics, where they again misdiagnosed the problem as a cracked exhaust flex pipe. They told me they couldn't get the part for a week, so I drove a rental car to Mobile to buy it from another Hyundai dealer ($300 more for the part, $200 for the rental car) and replaced it myself. Problem STILL not fixed. My car then broke down while driving to Dallas, where I had to spend $1600 at another Hyundai dealership who correctly diagnosed and fixed the problem - the clogged catalytic converter (not to mention $400 on two nights in a hotel, and $300 for two more days of rental car). In all, Hyundai of Metairie's bad diagnostics caused me to spend over $1,200 on parts I didn't need because they had no idea what they were doing! On top of that, the service department treated me with contempt because I did the repairs myself - even though they couldn't get my car in for repairs for WEEKS (I'm a mechanic's daughter with extensive experience doing major maintenance on cars; I know what I'm doing). They had the audacity to say that I did the repairs wrong, when the repairs I made were fine, just completely unnecessary because of their bad diagnostics! I called the first week of January to speak with their general manager and service director, who offered me a refund of only $200 for the diagnostic fee. Why not the full $1,200 I wasted with their bad diagnostics? Because they said it wasn't fair that I got to keep the new parts that I didn't even need. TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS. Then it took multiple follow up calls and emails to get the refund issued, and they didn't even send it for almost THREE months! SHAME ON YOU, Hyundai of Metairie. I will never own another Hyundai after this debacle. Avoid this place - they will scam you and refuse to take responsibility for it! More
Very easy to work with. I found the car I was interested in online and they were very patient while I got my financing in order. I found the car I was interested in online and they were very patient while I got my financing in order. More
Best experience buying a new car. There was no waiting around, staff listened to what we wanted, and we now have a brand new car. There was no waiting around, staff listened to what we wanted, and we now have a brand new car. More
Erik was very nice and very straightforward. He let us take our time to decide what we wanted, and he presented us with the options that we were considering. He let us take our time to decide what we wanted, and he presented us with the options that we were considering. More
