My mother was looking for a car and decided to travel to Grossinger Hyundai as opposed to other dealerships one day. Mike stopped her and helped her out at the dealership. He was very and and helpful and helped her decide on an Elantra, but my she was going to go back home and bring me later that day so I could have the final word on the car. As she waited in the front for a cab, someone called her back inside the dealership and asked her what she was doing. Mike offered to drive her back home, but the manager said to take his car and handed him the keys to a Hyundai Genesis to take her home. (Talk about serious customer service!) When me and my mother got back to the dealership that day, we went to the lot, chose the car, and filled out all the paperwork relatively quickly despite some fax slowdowns with State Farm. Everyone there was nice and very friendly toward us. This is a great dealership to go to if you're looking for a car. I'm absolutely in love with this new Elantra as I try to get used to it. I came to this dealer because of the good reviews I heard from others. In addition, upon visiting the dealer I was greeted courteously and felt comfortable with my transaction. The service I received was exceptional and they were willing to adapt to my needs; particularly, on my need for leather upholstery due to my child's allergies. The dealer representative that we worked with offered us options that we could work with and were interested in. He was very knowledgeable and was willing to go the extra mile in making sure us, the customer, came out happy. More
I had a great experience at Grossinger Hyundai. Alex Reynolds, in particular, made me feel very safe and comfortable throughout my car-buying experience. I felt he was honest, open, and truly cared about finding me the best car possible. I would definitely recommend going to Alex in the future. More
outstanding service. Server dealers said not to go to Grossinger and gave negative comments, but I found them to be outstanding, the very best price, and good customer service. My wife just bought a new Elantra here. I feel like we got a fair deal and they adhered to every promise they made. I found the staff to be generally professional. I would definitely buy at Grossinger again (for at least the third time). More
beware, stay way. I don't know why Carolyn Grossinger would ever led her name to such a xxxxxxx place. customer service sucks when you first drive in. I called about a new 2012 Sonata they had advertised and talked to Dana who made an appointment for Stay away from Grossinger Hyundai and Kia !!!! I called about a new 2012 Sonata they had advertised and talked to Dana who made an appointment for me with LeShawn. I asked how many they had at this price and was told they had at least 5 at the same MSRP. I offered to give a debit card to hold a vehicle (any color) but was told that was not necessary. This was at 4pm.I drove 60 miles (one way)only to find out that there was only one car at that price and they "couldnt even come close" on the price of any others with the same MSRP. Upon leaving, I also had the ad for the new 2012 Kia Optima LX (the Kia dealer is across the street) so I called and once again spoke with Dana. I didnt tell her who I was I just said I was inquiring about the Kia that was advertised. She explained about the car, even stating that it was Red and confirmed stock number. She asked me if I'd like to make an appointment to test drive it and I asked her if the car was still available and she said "Yes it is here on our lot" I told her great, I was across the street at the Hyundai dealer and would be there in 2 minutes. Well there was no car there, it was supposedly sold early that morning. I asked to see a manager and waited 20 minutes, then was told he was on a test drive. What GM of a car dealer goes on test drives ?????? I was furious and left. I went to Family Hyundai in Tinley Park, who gave me a great deal and were very nice. I will be contacting Hyundai USA on Tuesday to formally lodge a complaint as well as the BBB. This, in my opinion, is "Bait and Switch" which I believe is illegal, and will do everything in my power to keep other would be buyers from getting scammed. More

After 20 years, I returned to Grossinger Hyundai and purchased a new 2012 Hyundai Elantra Limited for my wife, which she loves! No hassles, no problems - another positive experience. I would recommend Grossinger Hyundai to anyone in the market for a Hyundai. More
