I had a terrible experience at Hyundai of Lincolnwood and would not recommend this dealership for service. I scheduled an appointment to address two recalls (tow hitch and wiper) and an oil change. I explicitly told them in advance that I was not interested in the third recall (a software update) due to time constraints, and they assured me this was fine. Additionally, I mentioned I had a better price for the oil change from Take 5 ($69.95), and they agreed to match it. When I arrived for my appointment, I was met by a service advisor named James, whose attitude and service were unacceptable. He told me they could not perform only the two recalls and insisted they had to do all three. He also reneged on the agreed price match for the oil change. This dealership completely wasted my time. They either lack basic communication skills or knowingly mislead customers. Avoid this place if you value your time and want straightforward, reliable service. More
This has got to be the worst run dealership in the nation. What a circus filled with clowns. I brought vehicle in on a service campaign and was told I could wait for it. Got a ride home and returned the next morning assuming vehicle would be “done” as told by their well trained and knowledgeable service advisor. (Sic). Never assumed done meant it would be started the next day. Big difference time and inconvenience wise right?? Never again. Never again Hyundai of lincolnwood. This place needs to turn out the lights and board up its windows and stop screwing over the public. This place must have some kind of work release program going on for where it gets it’s employees from!!! More

Service department totally useless. Had an appointment was greeted asked what service I was there for . Two hours later car was done got to cashier was told they only had me down for an oil change. Offered to do the tire rotation but it would be another Hour at an additional cost, I declined then they offered to do it for free again for an additional hour + waiting I passed. Paid and left. pulled over a few blocks latter looked at my receipt noticed I was overcharged by $10 went back asked why they didn't know then said it was because the parts were more expensive for my car. I'xx AN OIL CHANGE!!! So where is this additional cost posted for me to know ahead of time, they couldn't tell me. So was told I would receive a $10 Credit on my card. We'll see, if not I'll just do a chargeback. But I will NEVER used this service department again. Oh anr the sticker in the window said I'll need another oil change I 5 months or 5000 miles. Synthetic oil is good for 7500 - 1000 so about a year time. S do yourself a BIG favor and go else were for this was not their 1st screw up with service More

For a long time customer, I feel very unhappy with this new manager, and the newly enforced old policies. To which I say we will keep the parts and never buy again. He seems pleased and OK. More
I would not recommend purchasing cars and/or services of any kind with this location for various reasons. Despite regular and proper maintenance, low mileage, and rarely driving my car, I have had to rep any kind with this location for various reasons. Despite regular and proper maintenance, low mileage, and rarely driving my car, I have had to replace my fuel injectors, brakes & rotors, and transmission in the past year. I have called multiple times and have been on hold for long periods before calls being dropped. I have left multiple messages with staff and on the website without response. I have asked important, clarifying questions without any feedback. It has been an isolating, aggravating experience. There are currently multiple recalls for my model of car, which I am trying to get addressed and it is of the utmost importance that these issues are resolved quickly, otherwise thousands of dollars of more service will be needed. For these reasons, I am disappointed in the lack of response for service. More
2 different people at this dealership lied to me about their ability to offer 0% financing on a Tuscon hybrid model. I purchased my new car in WI and didn't have a local dealer yet to work with. I needed help attaching my front license plate. I pulled up and Dean was proactive and very helpful. Hyundai or Lincolnwood is an absolute joke. Avoid this dealer, I think it is family owned and it is poorly run. Most unprofessional staff I don’t know how they stay in business. Classic sleazy dealer tactics at this place. Advertised a car at $25,995. When I asked for a total out the door price, they said they only negotiate in person. I said I wasn’t asking to negotiate, I just wanted to know the cost of the car. It took over 6 hours for someone to finally give me an answer. This was after I was asked 5 times when I wanted to come in. I explained I lived 2 hours away and would need to know all of the information prior to making the trip. When I finally said I was going to go elsewhere, I received the information I asked for. It could have taken 5 minutes, but instead took 6 hours! There were two fees added in. One was a paint protector called Xilon and the other was some sort of theft deterrent. Combined, they were over $4000! When I said I didn’t need either one, I was told they were already on the car. Advertise at a low price, then add fees for stuff the customer doesn’t want, just to Jack the price up. I was immediately offered $1,000 off of the two items once I questioned them. No thanks. I’m taking my business elsewhere, sand would suggest that everyone should Run, not walk away from this dealership. This is why car dealers have bad reputations. More
