Dropped my car off for diagnostics and they kept it for two weeks after saying it would be done in a few days. The finally said it would be done on a tuesday, 11 days after it was dropped off and when they two weeks after saying it would be done in a few days. I’ve been very disappointed by this dealership service department repeatedly. I’ve submitted a number of complaints as a result of being ignored and complete inaction on repairing my vehicle(s) , followed department repeatedly. I’ve submitted a number of complaints as a result of being ignored and complete inaction on repairing my vehicle(s) , followed by promises to correct the situation and then request for re-scoring the negative review. I can no longer play this game because I feel that this is giving other consumers a false representation of what to expect from this company. I’m now quite certain that I cannot rely, regardless of the promises that have been made, on Thompson Hyundai to properly service the 2021 Sonata that I purchased from their dealership. This puts me in a position where the vehicle is now nothing more than an inconvenience because I must go out of my way to obtain service for it and that is simply something I can’t do. I chose Thompson because of the convenience of their location, they promised to make their location the only store that I would ever need for the lifetime of the vehicle. That seems to me to be false. I have been chasing serious problems for almost 6000 miles on a vehicle that only has just below 11,000 miles on it. By all indications it really seems Thompson has no intention of correcting these problems and are doing nothing more than ignoring me to push me into another dealership. I see this as a breach of a verbal contract, a commitment to service a vehicle that was purchased through them. I was walked from the sales floor to the service department, introduced to the service advisor, advised they would be able to take care of my vehicular needs and that was followed with a handshake. But Thompson has not kept up their end of that agreement. As a result I have now filed my second buyback case with Hyundai, in order to return the 2021 sonata I’ve purchased as it in the week since reporting the issues I’m having with the car, has since developed new and separate issues. I cannot continue to pay a premium for a vehicle that develops serious additional problems before the dealership repair facility even takes the time to diagnose the first problems, after having not one but two opportunities to plug a scan tool into the car while it was in for oil change which can be done in a matter of minutes, and refusing to do so. More

Tom who answered the phone for service department was very ignorant. We had only had the car for less than one month and it needed new transmission. Marcus was much nicer when we spoke with him. He kept us up to date and offered a rental. More
Took my Mazda in for service. Had to go to this location since the Mazda location is now closed. Would like to give Kudos to the service rep Steve Jones, he was very polite and professional. Didn't know what to expect. In today's world good customer service is rare. But Steve proved the critics wrong, he provided exceptional customer service and went above and beyond to get my tire warranty issue resolved. Steve's made me feel like a valued customer and made such a good impression that I would return to this location for future service. Thank you Steve and keep up the excellent work. More
I have been to the service department here two times Both times staff rude. Act like I am bothering them. Stated part for recall was out of stock. Was told “not sure what to tell you!” Called another dealership who had part and got me right in no problem. Will never deal with Thompson Hyundai ever again even though they are closer to my home.
