Selling a used car as new! The owner/manager stated that they have a 2016 "new" demo car that his wife had been driving. It had over 3,000 miles on it. I have a quote (worksheet) for the vehicle VIN KM8SRDHFXGU135998 in hand from the dealer stating that the mileage is 0 and the car is NEW. According to the dealership, Hyundai does not allow them to sell these vehicles as demo's, so they cannot discount the vehicle. Had I bought a "New" vehicle there, drove it 3,000 miles, and then brought it back to trade in, I would bet they would call that a USED vehicle. Granted, the car has never been titled, therefore technically it is new, but realistically it is not. My wife and I wasted over 2 hours of our time. Don't waste yours! Our salesman, Karl was actually a nice guy. I wish I could say the same for the rest. More
