Worst phone system I have ever dealt with. COuld never get a hold of anyone. System would hang up on me every time I called. I had to call sales, get them to transfer me to service, which sometimes would work, and other times would just hang up on me. All employees I talked to would agree that the system sucked, but their management company controlled that decision. The management company obviously doesn't care about their customers or employees or they would have done something about it. More
Because we book our own service appointments I had no idea that it would take over 4 hours to make the repairs. No one advised me and there was no loaner car available. I ended up taking my car home only idea that it would take over 4 hours to make the repairs. No one advised me and there was no loaner car available. I ended up taking my car home only partially fixed because I couldn’t wait any longer. When I questioned a few times how long it was going to take, I got three different responses. I suspect they hadn’t even started on my repairs until I asked for a progress report after 2.5 hrs (which was the first estimate). And, they never called me to tell me that the ordered part had come in. Nothing resembling customer service from now on I’m taking my car to a reputable mechanic. My next car is NOT going to be a Hyundai since the extended warranty means they can treat you badly at the dealership service center. More
I am very happy with the service I received at Hyundai of Chantilly. All people who helped me were respectful and patient. Service itself was excellent, but I was very disappointed with the lack of available loaner cars and the fact that the shuttle only provides rides within a 5 mile radius. Absolutely horrible dealership. I leased 2022 Genesis G70 from the dealership. Every time I brought in my car for service, there have been some sort of problem. About a year and h I leased 2022 Genesis G70 from the dealership. Every time I brought in my car for service, there have been some sort of problem. About a year and half ago, I brought in my car for simple oil and filter change with about 10k miles on he car, dealership recommended wheel alignment as 'preventative maintenance'. I had no issue with the car, but thought it would be good to be proactive and have the wheel alignment checked. The dealership performed some alignment adjustment, had me pay a little over $120 for the work. Then some time later, I noticed that my car was pulling to right. Had to go back in for the alignment to be corrected. Another time, I went in for front windshield replacement. Dealership didn't have part, so I had to wait for the windshield to arrive, which took around a couple of weeks. Then they couldn't provide loaner car for about a month and half, so I had to wait until they could provide loaner car, so basically it took around 2 and a half month to get the job done from the date i had made the initial appointment. About 3 months ago, I went in for another wheel alignment as a precaution because I hit a pothole and ended up with a flat tire. Again, they did the alignment, I pull out of the dealership, immediately noticed car pulling to the right. Again I had to go back in for the dealership to re-do the alignment. Today, I brought car in for oil change, and I had to wait 3 hours to get my car. I noticed my car was just sitting in the service driveway for at least 40 minutes before they could finish the 'paper work' to release the car. I am not sure what kind of paper work they do, but requiring 40 minutes to finish paper work seems ridiculous. I spoke to the service supervisor and all he said was there is nothing he can do, and doesn't know why it took the employee so long to finish the paper work. I bought a Genesis, but the service quality provided by the dealership seems to be worse than a typical Hyundai dealership. Any sort of service requires at least 2 hours to complete, and the time I had to spend in the dealership nearly doubled due to the 2 times that I had to take my car back in for them to correct the bad service they performed. Lease end is coming up in a couple of months, and I can't wait to get rid of the car simply due to the quality of the service provided by this dealership. More
