After purchase, they disappear & never return calls nor try to help w/any issues or promises mentioned during time of sale. I’ve waited 7 months for a REMOTE start key fob that was promised to me by KYLE a try to help w/any issues or promises mentioned during time of sale. I’ve waited 7 months for a REMOTE start key fob that was promised to me by KYLE at time of test drive & then during purchase. Kyle is the owners son (The Hills). Kyle promised me that he’d get me the remote start key fob for my pre-owned vehicle (in which he mentioned was brought in by a family friend of his & that he can easily retrieve the fob from her). Long short, they refuse STILL to get me it, telling me the previous owner cannot find it. When I responded stating that it needs to be replaced then if they can’t find it, their response was that it would cost too much money for them & that they REFUSE to purchase one for me. Kyle never Included in the paperwork that the car was supposed to come w/the key fob, so I basically got screwed. They proceeded to tell me that there’s a chance they’ll give me a discount to purchase one for approx $500. I was appalled after spending $23k dollars on my 2017 car! You’d think the OWNERS SON’S WORD would be an honest one, but nope I was SCAMMED & then dismissed by them. Eli & Heidi were the ONLY ones trying to help me resolve the situation, but soon they got turned down by their managers in doing so & was told that they were nor longer allowed to discuss the matter w/me. I felt an alliance was formed & I was treated extremely UNFAIR. The worst was Zach, who threatened to kick me out of the business while I was quietly sitting for me car to be finished in their shop one day. After I inquired about the key fob w/him (me trying to follow up on it in person), he insisted that the topic was finished & that I no longer was allowed to discuss the matter & that the final result was that he was not going to pay for my auto start key fob, regardless of what was told to me from my salesman Kyle. He said it’s because it was a pre-owned car sold as-is & that it was never stated in my paperwork that a remote start key would come. I told him that I am not asking “him” to purchase it for me, but that the company should, especially since the owners SON sold me the car with a broken promise, which you’d think should override the fact that he left the key fob topic out of the paperwork. Not only that, my family originally tipped Kyle $100!! I would never of thought that I would of had to make sure his word had to be included in my paperwork at time of sale or else it would backfire on me!? Shame on him, especially for being linked to the owner. Shame on Zach for treating me how he did in the lobby (in front of other customers). Thankfully, I knew it was on camera in the business. There was only one couple in lobby w/me & they whispered to me that I was doing great holding my own w/class. They said I should not let this guy Zach try to take advantage of me. I’ll never forget Zack yelling at me.. saying that if I continue the topic w/him, then I would have to leave the business & not come back. I told him that my fiancé & baby were coming to pick me up in a couple hours & that I had no other ride while waiting for my car… that I lived an hour away. I started to emotionally quietly cry in the lobby because I felt so harassed & mistreated & stuck. Tyler hollered across the room, telling me that I would need to leave if Zack is saying so. I quickly responded to him that he did not know the situation at hand & that I was treated very poorly. Tyler (manager) then told me that he was not familiar w/the situation & would follow up w/me in a couple days. It’s now been 5 months, still no call from the sales team or manager willing to call to apologize & or help resolve the situation for me. I feel baffled, scared & helpless, in the sense that I’m financing it & also paid extra coverage for any electric & machine issues down the road. This is the only dealership w/in 2 hrs of me. Their customer svc is beyond disappointing & painful. I’m heartbroken, this car was a big special purchase for me. More
Great experience. Just started to look at new cars and came by to look at the Santa Fe since we had a few minutes. Don’t buy a vehicle from them without checking to make sure you have floor mats and every other accessory you paid for. They will not replace them or give them to you when you leave with the car. Also go to Honda. They have better vehicles. That’s what I should have done. More
