Buying a car can be a very stressful experience, and for me a big decision, but it could not have gone any better. My buying experience at Hyundai of Ashville was one I will certainly remember. The sales person Michael Jordan was one of the best sales people I have ever worked with and was fantastic, from the time we will certainly remember. As being in the automotive business for 20 plus years with working on vehicles at a dealership earlier in my career then changing to the manufacturing side of automotive, I certainly understand how the business should be and how it should not be. As a plant manager of a manufacturing facility, I can assure you, if you are looking for a new or a used vehicle you will not find a better place to buy than Hyundai of Ashville and certainly will not find a better sales person to work with than Michael Jordan, he is truly one of a kind. So if you are looking for a Hyundai it will be well worth the time, to make the drive and the experience will be a one to remember, the staff is first class, and your buying experience will be “fun” and not like the other dealerships were you will spend 4 hours haggling over every single item. In addition if you are looking to finance, you can rest assure that Gene Cline will get you the best rates with the best banks. The added bonus to the whole experience will be when you actually close the deal and finalize paper work; Kelli Howard will make sure everything is spot on for you. First off, I LOVE my car! I found a great deal on a gently used 2011 Kia Forte. In the past when I've dealt with dealerships, I always left with a sense of frustration. I've purchased a car in the past that had left me regretting my purchase. That was NOT the case this time! Derek Patton is a great sales consultant. I've learned to ask questions when looking at cars and thought I knew everything. Derek made sure to give me a thorough introduction to my car and was extremely knowledgeable. I usually hate filling out paperwork but Kelli made it a quick and painless process. Hyundai of Asheville is a friendly place to purchase a vehicle. It is generally believed that purchasing a new vehicle is an exercise in frustration, theatrics and flim flamery. This was not the case involving my recent purchase of a Hyundai Elantra from Hyundai of Ashe an exercise in frustration, theatrics and flim flamery. This was not the case involving my recent purchase of a Hyundai Elantra from Hyundai of Asheville. I went there with interest in another model, the Sonata, which was thoroughly explained to me before taking a test drive. The process was somewhat evolutionary as I changed my mind several times about the different Sonata packages offered and eventually settled on the Elantra. During that time all of the sales persons were patient, helpful and intent upon guiding me to the best vehicle suitable for my budget and my needs. They were very knowlegable of their product, professional in their presentation and curteous as I switched from several different choices. The negotiations were pleasant, all options were explained to me and they worked extremely hard to get me into the best possible vehicle for my needs without any of the hardcore antics usually associated with the purchase of a new car. I left the dealership with a smile and found the entire experience to be a very friendly and positive experience. The entire staff went to extra lengths to make me feel comfortable and to address my needs. There were several small touches which added to the experience. Thick floor mats not listed as standard items were in the car after it was fueled with a full tank of gas and washed and cleaned. Michael Jordan covered all of the vehicle functions with me and programed the Blue Tooth option to my phone with great patience. The product speaks for itself. The Elantra is one of the best vehicles I've ever driven. It is stylish, well thought out, functional and well built. It makes one suspect that this is a car company that values quality, engineering, inovation and performance as much as the bottom line. Of course time will be the final judge but I suspect this vehicle will weather quite well over the years. The entire experience from the moment I walked into the showroom until I pulled out of the parking lot with my new car was great. I thank everyone involved and I will be back for another Hyundai when my daughter graduates highschool and takes this one away from me. More

I found him to be friendly, courteous, not pushy, and a great all around person. He responded to all our questions about the vehicle and how to install more options than it had in a very caring and positive manner. For these reasons, my choice of a salesman (and dealership) was obvious when I decided to buy a new car for myself. On the day I went to buy my new car, upon my arrival at the dealership,I was told that Dan was not scheduled to come to work for an hour or so yet, so I explained that I would only do business with him due to the fact that I considered him a friend and knew him to be honest and caring, and also NOT PUSHY, a rare trait in a car salesman. After this was agreed on I took 1 test drive in a car I had already picked out and researched on the internet. By the time Dan showed up he already had a sale to his credit for that day. One might think that the salesman would just slink off to his desk and figure up his commission on the deal, but NOT DAN.!! When I came back to pick up the car the next day, he spent a couple of hours showing me all the electronic gadgets and how to use them, set up the "blue tooth" phone system, and filled the gas tank as his dealer ship had advertised but there it sat with 3/4 tank of gas showing on the gauge. Before I drove away with my new car, (the first NEW ONE since 1959, Dan stressed to me that if I had any problems or concerns on operating the electronics, I should come and let him explain it all again and again for as long as it took. His knowledge of the product and willingness to share said knowledge were, and are AMAZING.!! If I ever buy another new car, Dan will be the salesman so long as he is not selling "smart for two"s, or "Ugo",s by then. Thank you for a great buying experience and a great car. It has performed flawlessly so far, Just like Dan.!! I would recommend him to ANYONE seeking a new or used vehicle.!! Sam Gibbs More
