We went in to do some research, looking for information on used Sonatas. Billy Hill met us when we walked in, and he got Bill Griffin to talk with us. Bill asked questions about our interests, checked on used Sonatas in stock, then asked if we would be interested in considering a new Sonata. Though we had gone to explore used cars, we asked Bill to share information on new Sonatas. He took time to find out about our concerns and interests, identified a specific vehicle, and took us on a test drive. He evaluated our trade-in vehicle, and worked with us to come to a price that we were comfortable with. Bill is a good questioner, a good listener, and a patient and effective negotiator, and he is quite knowledgable about his product. He is also pleasant and interested to know about the customer. Billy Hill was helpful in working through all the paper work, also pleasant and easy to work with. We are happy with our new Sonata and will definitely recommend Hyundai of Asheville to friends. We will also definitely recommend that potential customers request that Bill Griffin assist them. More
I thouroughly enjoyed my dealings with Hyundai of Asheville. There were no high pressure tactics used. They asked me specifically what I was looking for. Every feature of my car was explained to me. Probably the most simple process of purchasing a car that I have ever experienced. Very professional staff and I actually had a great time during this whole process. I bought my Veloster new from Hyundai of Asheville a year ago. I took it in because the front end is making a noise when gears shift, backing up, putting car in park, pulling forward slowly, putting car in ago. I take my car to get serviced and the Service Techs along with the Service Desk tell me that the noise I hear is "special noise of the Veloster". Also on that service visit there were recalls and updates that needed to be done that I was unaware of. One of those included a part dealing with the brakes. They replaced the faulty piece but forgot to reconnect my emergency brake. I didn't notice until later that night that the emergency brake was not working at all, so the next morning I call the service desk to tell them I am coming back and will need to be done quickly and have gas in my car since this trip was not my fault as I didn't forget to reconnect the emergency brake. Upon leaving the dealership, the Service Desk man, Tommy, followed me out to my car, and told me that he doesn't feel that I will be happy with any service they give me and that I need to find another dealership and there is one in another County another 40 miles on top of the 30 I drove to get to their dealership. I told him that I had filed a complaint with Hyundai Motor Company for the poor customer service that I have continuely received, Tommy said yes I know, I told him I didn't need to be talking to him and I didn't like his attitude. He responded that he didn't like mine either. What kind of company allows your employees to tell customers that they need to go else where for service? Hyundai of Asheville does. More
My decision to purchase a new car came rather quickly-- three days after I made the decision i was driving home in my new 2013 Sonata Hybrid. I had been thinking about a purchase for about three years now and had been waiting for the right time to do so. My dad has bought a Hyundai Sonata from Hyundai of Asheville in 2010 and raves about his car every chance he gets-- so I thought I'd give them a try! After going through utter and complete misery with two other dealerships (Hunter Hyundai in Hendersonville and Hyundai of Greer) Richard saved the day. The other dealerships didn't take us seriously and tried to pull the wool over our eyes... maybe it is because we look so young, possibly naive in that way. Hunter Hyundai told us their "best deal", which was still $2,000 higher than what we got the car for at Hyundai of Asheville (this was after they trash-talked Hyundai of Asheville for "not being honest about the sticker price", when in reality THEY were the ones who try to pull a fast one on potential customers). The entire staff at Hyundai of Asheville were incredibly helpful, honest and again, saved us from misery with the other dealerships. The only negative thing I could say is that whoever details the new vehicles needs to be taught how to actually clean a car... I swear they made it dirtier and I had to go back to get them to fix some grease smudges someone made when they were supposed to be cleaning my new car and I've never seen such a bad job at cleaning windows! I certainly don't blame the sales people for this. My experience with Hyundai of Asheville, and especially with Richard, was incredibly positive. I'd recommend anyone who is looking for a new Hyundai to go no further than here. You may want to browse other places for prices but that's it. Hyundai of Asheville was amazing. I love my new car and I feel so good knowing I supported a local business that is worth giving my business to! More

Earlier this week I visited Hyundai of Ashville to look at a used Acura MDX. I didn't end up purchasing the car, but was particularly impressed with my sales rep, Mary Ann. Mary Ann was very striaght forward and open with me regarding the vehicle price, condition, how the purchasing process works, etc... When I had a few questions about the vehicles mechanical condition and she called a friend of hers (not associated with her dealership) and asked him to answer any questions I had, regardless of whether it would be good or bad for her sale. All that said, I was impressed Mary Ann's integrity (which is rare in this business), her connections, and her attitude. That said, I want to give her and her dealership a strong recommendation. More
