Too long too explain the full story, but our car was in the engine recall notice. It landed at this service dept, where it stayed for around SIX months, where thank goodness our warranty paid to replace th the engine recall notice. It landed at this service dept, where it stayed for around SIX months, where thank goodness our warranty paid to replace the entire engine (which should have been paid by Hyundai from the start). *Our warranty has paid over $20K on this car* Our son (a Clemson student), finally got it back and drove it home to Charleston. The engine light was back on about 6 months later where the dealership in CHS, in a documented invoice, stated that a short block seal was not installed correctly and oil was leaking, among other things. Short story, trying to charge $5500 for a new catalytic converter. Hyundai service stinks, corporate stinks, and I would never, ever recommend a Hyundai to anyone. Total nightmare and waste of so much time and money. More
I am 75 years old and this has been the easiest and best used car purchase I have ever made. I saw the vehicle online, called and spoke to Kailey and asked for an itemized quote for the car. Not long after I got it and unlike other quotes this one only had a couple small charges where other dealers were trying to push all kinds of xx so a great price to me. Then I told her I was 85 miles from their dealership and would try to get over there in a day or so. She said no problem, we will deliver it to you for free. What!!!!!! other dealers wanted hundreds of dollars to deliver it. I am 200% pleased with the buying experience and loving my used Tucson. Thank y'all More
I had a service appointment today for an oil change, After being there 90 minutes I was told I needed new brakes front and back, told they were in red zone at 3 milligrams and my car was dangerous to dr After being there 90 minutes I was told I needed new brakes front and back, told they were in red zone at 3 milligrams and my car was dangerous to drive. They said they needed to be replaced today! I called my husband and after learning they wanted well over $600 he made me an appointment to have the brakes replaced elsewhere. After having them inspected at a new location that specializes in brakes, I was told I didn’t need brakes and mine were in green zone and had a long way to go before they needed to be replaced. I have been going to Hyundai in Anderson since 2013 and have always had my service done there. I no longer trust them which is really sad. They have lost my business! More
