Very nice-no pressure sales and Sal did explain every part of the purchase from introduction and test drive to "sealing" the deal. Never coming back I am 7 months pregnant in Vista CA when the average temp in October is 80+ degrees and my AC is leaking inside my car. I took my car to Hector the ser I am 7 months pregnant in Vista CA when the average temp in October is 80+ degrees and my AC is leaking inside my car. I took my car to Hector the service manager who first told me it was not covered before even looking at it and decided that since it was not a "safety" issue (sorry but mold to any person let alone a pregnant one is a safety issue) they would not give me a loner car, but requested to have my car for a full 3 days. Also he denied my request when I asked if they were going to have my car cleaned. He said they would "dry it out". I work two jobs, my car is a 2016 Tucson (only a year old), and has a 100,000 mile warranty and a maintenance agreement. I was told that since the AC was "clogged from leaves and dirt" this is why it was leaking into my car and was not covered. The only person who was helpful today was my service advisor John. He told me that they would waive the fees today "just this one time", but next time I would have to pay to have it repaired again. Why is this happening in the first place? Why would there be a next time? Never in my life have I ever had this issue or even heard of an AC getting "clogged" from "outside conditions" on any vehicle I have ever owned. I asked how I can prevent this from happening again, or if this is something I can drain myself if this continues to happen and he said "I don't know". I'm "grateful" they were able to waive these fees this one time (even though I have a warranty and maint agreement) but that doesn't make up for the fact that I do have mold inside of my car now and it smells terrible. I have a headache from driving my vehicle and also pictures of white mold growing on the floor of my passenger side. Its extremely disappointing that I pay all of this money every month to have a nice reliable car and now I feel like I don't. What is the point of purchasing these extra warranty's and maint agreements if at the end of the day you still are not covered? I purchased my vehicle at this specific dealership so I continued to bring it here for service. I will never come back to this dealership again, and now I feel that I regret buying a Hyundai. Its only been one year and I am having issues now that no one seems to want to help me with and I'm not covered. More
