Outstanding Customer Service Experience Nick Cucinella was our sales person at the Escondido Hyundai. Nick was very professional from our first email correspondence to the sale of the car a Nick Cucinella was our sales person at the Escondido Hyundai. Nick was very thorough in his correspondence, sent us a reminder email for our appointment and was waiting for us upon arrival. His hospitality was beyond amazing. He was NOT one of those pushy salespeople who would NOT take NO for an answer. He heard what our needs were and directed us to the right vehicle. We bought the regular Sonata Hybrid. During the sales process we had told him we are looking for a car with no bells and whistles and he recommended exactly what our needs were. He took us for a test drive, took time to show us everything and at NO point was he pushy. We felt very comfortable from the time we entered the showroom to the time he handed us of the Robert the Finance manager Robert as well was very accommodating. Did not try to upsell us on anything as we told him we are not interested in anything you have to offer. Robert made up the agreement and we signed, later after Nick setup the vehicle for us we walked back in to ask about the additional warranty package. Robert was very genuine in his offer and we did not feel pressured and bought the extended warranty. We told Robert we appreciated him and Nick as this is the first time we have encountered a dealership which has been so courteous, accommodating and listened to our needs and let us make decisions without any pressure or buyers remorse. Wow just wow Nepotism never works. I repeat, nepotism never works. I cannot convey in words how awful my first brand new car buying experience was. The kid literal Nepotism never works. The kid literally gave up on me after leading me on for 2 weeks and only after I decided to come in did they get anything rolling. Then, after all the loan work was done and they were going to bring up the car for me, they realized they had SOLD MY CAR. They had to get one from palm springs la quinta, and I had to agree to and insure a vehicle I had never even seen or driven. The kid, his name is Steven, never communicated anything with me, ANYTHING. It was always someone else, and they would ask "did Steven tell you this?" or say "I'm sure Steven told you this important detail". Nope, I would respond. I end the experience just being thankful I have a car to drive but that should be the least of my worries from a dealership like Hyundai. Gabriel was most helpful along with the finance manager.
