This was the worst new car buying experience Ive ever had. Hyundai City of Bay Ridge lured me in under the promise of selling a brand-new vehicle, but what I received was far from that and the paperwork had. Hyundai City of Bay Ridge lured me in under the promise of selling a brand-new vehicle, but what I received was far from that and the paperwork later revealed they had sold it as used while pushing me into financing with double charges (yes, they did not honour the full promised discount).The car was delivered without a proper pre-delivery inspection, and it showed: it had scratches, dents, a broken door handle, a missing tire kit, and no full tank of gas. This is not how a new car should be delivered.When I raised concerns, they didnt own the issue instead, they kept calling me back in with vague reassurances but no real resolution. I also reached out to Hyundai USA, and was disappointed to see the lack of accountability at the brand level as well.This is not how you treat a customer. I trusted this dealership and expected transparency and basic professionalism. Instead, Im left with buyers remorse, a damaged vehicle, and a brand I no longer feel loyal ***** sharing this so others dont fall into the same trap read the fine print, and dont take their new car promise at face value. This review is for the worst dealership I have ever dealt with, in 25 years of purchasing/leasing cars. In summary, I was being attended to by a salesperson that showed me a price for the Santa Fe 2025 Calli with, in 25 years of purchasing/leasing cars. In summary, I was being attended to by a salesperson that showed me a price for the Santa Fe 2025 Calligraphy package I agreed to. I paid the deposit we agreed to and was ready to pay the monthly amount he told me of. After days of going back and forth we finally got to the financing office ready to sign the deal, when at LAST MINUTE I was told a completely different price than what we agreed to originally. Due to having paid a deposit already, I was not allowed to back on the deal. This is very unprofessional and simply not good business practice. I finally agreed to the price and picked up the car once it was delivered. They then gave me a car with the wrong tire pressure, and although the window sales sticker states the cross rails are dealer install, they were given to me uninstalled. Lastly, I was supposedly given new tires yet TWO DAYS after receiving the car and not driving much the entire rear left tire blew out while in park. The dealership would not take responsibility for the damages and I had to pay for the new tire out of pocket. More

I thought i was going to be able to leave a favorable review after I left the dealership but yeah, not so much. I'm currently driving around with an expired temp plate in my window because I've yet to receive my registration for my new vehicle. I called just before the temp was about to expire and was told sometimes it takes a little longer. It's been another 3 weeks and still nothing. Definitely doesn't seem important to them. Communication is not the greatest from this dealer/sales rep and when I do reach out to inquire, I get excuses. On top of the fact that I'm risking getting pulled over and getting ticketed for having expired plates, I got the title last week and it doesnt have the lienholder infornation on it. I did direct financing, so i came with a check but I expressed the importance of including the lienholder information when they did the purchase agreement, because we had to go back and forth about putting it on the purchase agrmt. Fast forward to yesterday or early this morning, I should say. I got a text at 1:14 am after sending a message to the sales rep at 2 pm the previous day. Super unprofessional to text a customer at that time of the morning. And of course as of today, I still haven't received my plates or my overage refund check from the registration fees that I overpaid. I don't feel that I should have to do leg work or continue to follow up when the dealer was responsible for handling the transaction and should be making sure I have my registration and plates that I've already paid for. Soon it will be 2 months since I purchased the ca Mr and he keeps trying to tell me this is normal! This is not normal and I've been buying car for over 20 years. Not once has it ever taken this long. I really think somebody dropped the ball and doesn't want to admit it! Either that or somebody just didn't know what they were doing! More

I recently had the pleasure to visit Hyundai City of Bay Ridge. It was the best car buying experience I have had. The sales person that helped me was Emre and he was attentive from the beginning of the proc Ridge. It was the best car buying experience I have had. The sales person that helped me was Emre and he was attentive from the beginning of the process and even with after care. I love my 2024 Hyundai Tucson. I will recommend this dealership and Emre to anyone looking to purchase/lease a vehicle. I will even recommended it to all my family members. Will definitely be back once my lease is up. More
