Very unprofessional service dept. Called ahead to schedule an appointment. Arrived to drop off my Hyundai Sonata. I had to give my information to 3 different people before finally getting to Michelle Murks who started to check in my vehicle. Michelle was very dismissive and you could tell she was already in a bad mood. She didn't fully listen to our explanation of what was wrong with the car, she instead jumped straight to telling us that it probably isn't covered by the warranty and that they do not accept all warranties. She started to look up our warranty information and became agitated that we didn't have our entire policy memorized by heart. We have had our vehicle serviced there before, so they should have all of our information on file. Instead of being helpful and looking up our warranty, Michelle accused us of being too negative and said we should take our car somewhere else to get serviced. When we objected, she became very confrontational and used profanity while storming off. The service manager came over and refused to help as well. Instead of finding out the issue, he instead told us to leave and that we would not be welcome at that dealership ever again. I understand that people have rough days and are in bad moods, but there is no excuse for taking it out on customers. You could tell from how Michelle refused to check-in our car and how quickly the service manager jumped to her aid, that confrontations with upset customers is something they deal with often. The customer is not always right, but there is no reason to be so rude and dismissive just because you don't want to take the time to help people. It is apparent that this service department devotes more time on how to quickly get rid of customers who question the poor service they are receiving rather than focusing on how to provide the best service possible. I had to go to Hyundai service to get my alignment checked. Well, I had already gone to another service shop to get the alignment checked. So, this service shop did not have the right sensors to fin checked. Well, I had already gone to another service shop to get the alignment checked. So, this service shop did not have the right sensors to find the root of the steering wheel pulling, but they said the alignment was good. It was something with rods or struts or something. So, I end up at Hyundai service. Paid $140 for an alignment that was not guaranteed. And was told I needed tire rods, sway bars, and 2 new tires, $1700. Did not give me a copy of estimate or an alignment printout. I had to call and wait on hold to find out exactly what needed to be repaired. So, I went back to other service shop and they repaired my 2014 Sonata for $680 and they were honest. The alignment was not guaranteed from Hyundai service. Now, I have a free lifetime warranty on my alignment from the "other service shop". No more rip offs for me. My last oil change, I made the mistake of going there. Tried to charge me $70 for windshield wiper blades, and $135 or something for the air filter! Insane! More
Really great service advisor, BUT this dealership is a "clip joint, " avoid it is you can. I made an appointment for 7:00 am thinking that I would be out of there early. Well, I get there early to discover that there was no not Hyuandi service, and you have to got next door to the jointly owned Chrysler dealer that does not even open until 7:30, and the technicians don't arrive until 8:00 am! My appointment, made on the phone, was confirmed by an operator 200 miles away who evidently does not know what time the dealership opens. Then, I am informed I need a new cabin filter for $65.00. Come on guys, this is a $10.00 item everywhere. I realize that you need to make a profit, but why insure that I'll never return? Beware of this business.....what a shame, such good folks working at the customer level forced to work for such people. More
Went to get a key cut today after speaking with them yesterday about it. They told me to be there at 5:30. I showed up at 5 just to be told that everyone was already done working for the day. The guy in the front told me they are still working they just don’t like accepting work after 5 pm. I asked why they told me to be there at 5:30 if they stop working at 5 and they laughed at me. Hands down the worst dealership I’ve ever been to. It would be easier to buy your car ANYWHERE ELSE. Don’t put up with the headache that comes with this place. Save yourself before it’s to late. More
