I went in not knowing exactly what car I was interested in and they were very patient and allowed me to test drive and see several vehicles to help narrow my decision. I leased my last vehicle with this dealership and the experience was wonderful. Therefore the decision to look here for my next vehicle was an easy one. Rhonda was a great salesperson to work with. She followed up several times throughout the process and worked hard to get me a great deal. More

Purchasing the cars and quick and the salespeople very helpful, with no pressure. We have had no maintenance issues for any of our cars with the exception of maintenance required by mileage. The service team is very helpful, polite and friendly. They even went as far as allowing a new windshield to be installed on a car that wouldn't pass inspection without it which kept me from having to make a second trip to get inspected. All around a great long term relationship. More
Friendly ride after a Long day. I had to get my 60,000 mile service done recently. I had JUST flown back into town from a trip to Boston for my sister's graduation. I went straight to the dealer after getting off the plane and was doing work in the service center when I was offered to be dropped off over at Chesterfield Town Center. This was a service that I didn't know that Nissan offered. Great ride to the mall, where I did my work for the next two hours, and back which was simple and a nice relaxer for me as I got back. More

Pence For Life.. NOTHING "Free" about the Oil Changes Bought our 2012 Altima with "Pence for Life" which is supposedly free oil changes, and inspections for life. Amongst other things. I expect a dealer Bought our 2012 Altima with "Pence for Life" which is supposedly free oil changes, and inspections for life. Amongst other things. I expect a dealer to charge a FAIR price based on the market rate for such services. That said, fair to me is a 10-20% mark up of similar services at similar service centers, due to the extra work and knowledge as a dealer you have and the services you provide. I would NOT expect that mark up to be 300%. "Pence For Life" is a gimmick and a scam, they charge you for all the "Free" services (and then some) at your major service intervals. Here is what $425 gets you at Pence: Rotate Wheels & tires Replace Crankcase Oil Filter Change fluid Crankcase Inspect fluid level Manual transmission/transaxle Inspect Drive Belt(s) Inspect fluid level Continuously Variable Trans/Transaxle Inspect Constant Velocity Joint Boots Replace Cabin air filter Inspect Brake lines & hoses Inspect Brake rotors Inspect Suspension Inspect Steering system Inspect Fuel vapor lines Inspect Fuel lines Inspect Exhaust system Change fluid Brake system Replace Air filter element Mind you the oil change is supposed to be FREE So they inspect a number of things, replace a cabin and air filter, and flush the brake lines. and rotate the tires.. ANYWHERE else this is a $150 or so MAX.. Then when I called them on it, the Gen Manager called me and in a word said "Tough".. and if I didnt pay the $425 on get the service there my wife couldn't stay on the program. Of course my wife has developed a relationship with the service dept, and I feel they planned on that, which is about as disingenuous as it gets and really says something about a companies business practices. I would avoid them at all costs. Because you WILL over pay. More
I CANNOT say ANYTHING GOOD about my recent visit to Pence!!! Over the past 20 years, we have bought 8 Nissans, 5 of them from Pence, including TWO Versas ON THE SAME DAY. When it came time to buy a Pence!!! Over the past 20 years, we have bought 8 Nissans, 5 of them from Pence, including TWO Versas ON THE SAME DAY. When it came time to buy a new Versa Note, they were NOT willing to give us anything more that $24, yes, that's right - TWENTY FOUR AND NO/100 DOLLARS, as a repeat customer, keeping in mind we had spent about $140,000.00 at this point. While we were negotiating, they tried to "sell" us their "oil change/inspection" for four years, a $400 value, we declined. Then they tried to sell us their "oil change/inspection" for TWO years, for $200, again, we declined, when we asked that four year package was included as part of our package, NOT HAPPENING, O.K., so how about the TWO year package? AGAIN, NOT HAPPENING. It wasn't until we decided to walk out that they were willing to include it, O.K. that's better than NOTHING, but not by much! We wanted the Peacock Blue, which apparently is hard to find, but they found one out of state. To our dismay, it was "damaged during shipment", but they DID find one that was our second color choice, "Morning Sky Blue". O.K. fine, NOT the color we wanted, but "I guess it would be O.K.," we then asked that they drop the price $288, they would "call us right back". At this point, we started looking elsewhere, that was 10 a.m. We found the car we DID want at another dealership (Go to PRIORITY NISSAN in CHESTER and read the review I wrote about them!), and at 4 p.m.,when I emailed Pence telling them "never mind", Lo and behold, we get a call from the salesperson. I was curt but polite, and told them we were no longer interested in anything they had to say. Not 5 minutes later, the same man that refused to give us anything more than the time of day as repeat customers, called us asking why we were no longer interested, and again I was curt but (less than polite) and told them "NOT INTERESTED!" WAY TOO LITTLE, WAY TOO LATE! Even though Pence is less than 5 miles from me, I'll never set foot in there again. I would rather get a ROOT CANAL with NO NOVACAINE than deal with them again. More
I have never had a more humiliating experience with a car dealer than I had with Pence Nissan. I was berated by the finance representative for changing my mind and choosing another manufacturer's vehicle ov dealer than I had with Pence Nissan. I was berated by the finance representative for changing my mind and choosing another manufacturer's vehicle over Nissan, even though I ordered a unit from Nissan. The customer is ALWAYS RIGHT. If this man thought he would convince me to take the NIssan, the verbal abuse I took from him before I stormed out the door cemented these facts: 1. It will be a cold day in xxxx before I buy anything from Pence Nissan. 2. If this sales representative is the kind of person Nissan wants to represents them, I will never purchase a Nissan again. ( I have purchased 7 in my life.) 3. Intimidation of a client is unethical and unacceptable in business. 4. I will recommend to those I know interested in Nissans that Pence is a poor place to do business. I wouldn't recommend Pence NIssan to my worst enemy. More
I would rather give them a NO star after my experience with this company. I hope they go out of business soon, because they are truly criminals. I brought my car there for them to see why it's not starting. Now I had told them that I had it tested (paid $1000+) already. The test scanned the entire car and found 1 code that was wrong. All I needed to know was what that code meant. I asked them about it, they wouldn't tell me. They kept telling me that they need to run tests on it to find out about that code. They didn't need to do that. They are a dealership, they have all that information. All they had to do was tell me what that code meant. I spoke with their Mgr and Ricky Olsen, the lead at repair area. They kept refusing, even though shops/dealers are supposed to do that. They never did. So I finally agreed for them to run the test ($1200). One thing after another they tell me my car has this problem, that problem. I said ok let's get that fixed (another over $1000). Then it kept going on and on about more problems that the car had. When all I needed to know was what that code meant. Well as it turns out (after I decided to say forget, I'll take my car back) all they did was replace some plugs in my car which costs roughly $15 in total. On top of that they did NOT put things back the way I had it originally. Some parts were missing etc. They either don't know what they're doing or they're just careless. Either way do not go to them ever...beware. More

After looking at dealers closer to my home, I drove to Pence. The buying process was easy; Andre was very helpful without being a typical "pushy salesman".
