Mr Dansereau was very helpful, professional, courteous and very customer oriented. Mr Dansereau is an asset to the Honda Hyannis dealership and he should be commended for his dedication to take care of the customers. I would recommend the Hyannis service department to anyone and especially under the leadership of Mr Dansereau. I also would like to mention the young man at the part department who gave me my 2 hub caps ( I apologize I do not remember his name) he also was very helpful, efficient and polite. Sincerely, Roger P Michel More

Sandy, the receptionist asked me if I wanted a salesman to which I said, "no,thank you, just looking." But she told me there was a HRV on the lot and handed me a brochure. After about 5 minutes she paiged Jake Roberts who came over to see if he could help me. Again, I was just looking. Jake talked to me about the new HRV, never pressuring me into anything, just talked. I appreciated his knowledge and his manner. I then took the car for a test drive and I loved the car. The size is perfect! I was hooked, now just had to convince my wife that this is what we needed. Short story, she loved the car as well and Jake answered all her questions. She is a small women and had some concerns regarding being able to see well out of the window. We bought the car a few days ago, again, Jake was informative and there was no pressure. The dealings with the Business Manager to come up with a price I could afford was good as well. We feel the price is fair. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. More
Car problem while on vacation While on vacation, our car experienced a problem with tire pressure. I stopped by this dealership early Monday morning on 8/17. Laura, the Warranty Ad While on vacation, our car experienced a problem with tire pressure. I stopped by this dealership early Monday morning on 8/17. Laura, the Warranty Administrator, understood my problem and said that they could look at it in about an hour since they were pretty well booked that morning. In less than an hour my car was taken in, the problem diagnosed AND solved. We get that kind of service from our local Honda dealer, but wasn't sure what would happen in another area. My feeling is that Honda wants to keep its customers and attract new ones. With that kind of attention, they are succeeding. Many thanks. Ernest Lehman New Fairfield, CT More
Unsatisfied in Service Department I have heard nothing but good things about Hyannis Honda and my uncle has been purchasing his cars there for over 15 years. After he had moved and I r I have heard nothing but good things about Hyannis Honda and my uncle has been purchasing his cars there for over 15 years. After he had moved and I received his 2010 Honda Civic I knew that if I ever had a problem Hyannis Honda would be more than happy to help. Although, unfortunately today, I received poor customer service in the service department. I had called asking for help with the error code on my radio because my code number was not working. The employee I had spoken to, who did not give his name, I felt as though was rushing the phone call and did not stay on the phone to help until the problem was solved. I had ended the phone call by saying "Thank you" and "Have a nice day" but the employee replied with nothing and hung up the phone. This was my first experience, myself, with Hyannis Honda and I am not quite sure if I would go back. More
Service Provided While Under Waranty I've purchased 3 cars and leased a vehicle from Hyannis Honda in the past 6 years. My sales experience is top notch. Dennis Granite is an outstandin I've purchased 3 cars and leased a vehicle from Hyannis Honda in the past 6 years. My sales experience is top notch. Dennis Granite is an outstanding salesman and that's why I continued to do business with Hyannis Honda. However, I've had 2 service experiences since April of this year. The first was to repair tire valves on the brand new (less than 2 weeks old) leased Civic. This was a poor experience to say the least. The wait time was well over 3 hours. Not a friendly face to be found in the service department that day. Next, my most recent experience was replacing a part for the transmission. I made it under the 60,000 mile waranty and still have to say that I am very disappointed having such an issue with a 3 year old Honda CRV. Figuring out the problem and setting up the service date (after waiting over 1 week for a back ordered part) - was not the type of customer service I expected. I was called by the wrong name 2 or 3 times (I think they could get that right considering my purchase history), one person tried to set up the service on the wrong car after the second visit, and really seemed to have no idea what I was getting the service for. I would think that with just a little review of my history in the service computer, I could have been addressed by my proper name and had more confidence that my service was being scheduled correctly. I asked one service person if I could get a rental car, through my insurance even, since this was a warranty issue. His response was, "If you pay for it." I didn't appreciate the short response and would have just appreciated a better customer service experience. By the end of the ordeal, I was dealing with a service advisor name Laura. She was lovely and personable which helped to ease my dissapointment with the overall experience. It's too bad that I couldn't have been treated as well from the beginning or as I am when I'm purchasing a vehicle by the other individuals in the service department I encountered. I felt as if my service issues were a burden. And I'm not happy to begin with to have such a major repair done on a vehichle with about 50,000 miles. Unless my waranty is being honored, I will never take a vehicle to Hyannis Honda service department which means I won't do any future vehichle purchases, trades or leases either. More
They said we won't need honda care plan-- HA I will start by saying we bought an Accord V-6 coupe a year and a half ago. It was a car we wanted for quite a long time but with kids in car seats it I will start by saying we bought an Accord V-6 coupe a year and a half ago. It was a car we wanted for quite a long time but with kids in car seats it wasn't a good suit. It was "certified used" and when we went through the finance phase were told of the Honda Care warrantee and told "it's certified so you really don't need it" boy are we glad we got it. Within a year we started having problems. In the end we are stuck with a car we are not happy with as it doesn't run like a Honda should. It runs louder than any other Honda I've owned (just have learnt to crank the stereo up real loud to drown out the engine) also shifts hard at times. Really wish that our salesman we've used many times was able to help us out better when he talked to the owner of the dealership, seeing as we have bought many Honda's there and we would have stayed with them, but when they treat you as if you just walked in off the street and being a repeat customer that was a slap in the face. Glad we bought the Honda care plan because otherwise we'd be out close to $7000 with rentals, parts and labor. Norman in the service department has been excellent throughout this whole ordeal of trying to correctly diagnose all this cars issues. I will continue to use the service department but will not do business with their sales department. More
The dealer called me one day after the review appeared and we worked out a settlement. He was truly concerned about my experience and anxious to keep me as a customer. I will continue to do business wit and we worked out a settlement. He was truly concerned about my experience and anxious to keep me as a customer. I will continue to do business with Hyannis Honda Service performed was 105000 mi. service. item 1 I told them of a noise in right front upon acceleration when I dropped off the car. I asked if the noise was fixed when they called to tell me it was ready. They told me it was fixed and the car was road tested! I picked up the car, 06 Pilot, and the noise was still there as soon as I started forward out of the parking space. A mechanic rode with me, heard the noise immediately and fixed it within 45 minutes or so. I don't believe the car was road tested Item 2. I dropped the car off at 8:00 AM. At 10:00 AM they called and told me the brakes were 95% worn and I needed rotors and pads all around.(about $1200) I have all my service done at the dealer. In late december 2011 I had the oil changed and they told me about all the things they checked which included the brakes and that the brakes were fine. I don't believe the brakes went from fine to 95% gone in 6 weeks. When I questioned them I got several "possibilities" When I first got the car in 08 and it was under warantee I complained about the brake pedal going close to the floor and the same for the emergency brake. I also complained about a scraping noise when I started moving in the morning. They told me all was well. Now the car is out of warantee and the causes of the things I complained about are reasons for the brakes going from fine to 95% bad in six weeks. I don't believe it. I don't believe that they check the things they claim to during the $30 oil change. I am surprised they were able to inspect my brakes more carefully than during an oil change when they were doing an "all day job" on the front of the engine More
