I was very unimpressed with the overall lack of friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism at the Hyannis Honda Sales department. I have never experienced such an uninspiring and somewhat depre friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism at the Hyannis Honda Sales department. I have never experienced such an uninspiring and somewhat depressing buying experience. My major frustration with Hyannis Honda during this purchase was that I was easily texting back and forth with other dealers at the same time whom I had never met, and getting very helpful data and pricing from, but I was unable to reach anyone to communicate with even by telephone at Hyannis Honda. There was no way to text with my sales team and it took days rather than minutes to receive a response to my questions. I also received numerous follow-up calls from sales managers at other dealerships since I was texting with their sales people. I received no friendly follow-up calls or messages from Hyannis Honda management. I even called the big sales Manager “Mike” and left a message on his voicemail in the heat of my frustration describing the whole uninspiring Hyannis Honda sales process, but I never received a follow-up call or message from him. Unfortunately I could only come to one conclusion, that Hyannis Honda is so busy and maybe “The Only Show in Town” so they do not need to do what some of the other dealerships need to do in order to maintain a competitive edge. I was texting with a dealer in Norwood and another one in Plymouth, both of which impressed me and I would have gladly visited them because of their friendly positive attitude and easy transparent pricing approach. Unfortunately I found none of that at Hyannis Honda. I appreciate this opportunity to express my opinion and honest feelings because this buying experience has actually left me feeling quite upset. I wish that my local Honda dealer was just as progressive, friendly and price competitive as the dealers Off-Cape. I wanted to work with Hyannis Honda because they are local, but I was left feeling through this experience that they did not want my business. Just so you know, Hyannis Honda has performed all the service work on my 2015 Honda CRV since 2016 and other than being rather expensive I have been satisfied with the Service Department. My frustration is with the sales group I encountered at Hyannis Honda. I stopped by the Sales Department a few days after we picked-up our new car, we were at the Service Department getting our MA Inspection Sticker. Dan our salesman was at the door of the showroom. I said “Hello Dan” and asked him how he was doing. (Please realize I do like Dan and am am totally sympathetic to his current health condition) He said his health was good at the moment, but his condition could act up unexpectedly. At that he looked out the window and darted out the door right past me to approach a potential customer that was window shopping outside. No, Excuse me, No, How are you enjoying your new car, No, Glad to see you. He remained talking with the customer for roughly 15 minutes and then he marched the customer into the showroom right past me without another word or gesture while I stood there. Are you kidding me! This is “world class” customer service? I have never been treated like this by any dealership or any company or store who wants me as a customer or values my business. I would encourage Hyannis Honda to review their sales practices and significantly improve their customer service policies and maybe even adopt human relations training. Thank you for this opportunity to review my Hyannis Honda Sales experience. More
