First of all, I wouldn't take my worst enemy to Kia of Macon. Second of all, their systems are hacked, and they are failing to mention it to their customers. On May 28 @ 1pm, I dropped my car off at Kia of Macon for a diagnostic exam. We paid $350 up front or they wouldn't touch my car or see it they said. On June 3, we paid $2500. They told us this amount needed to be paid so they can order the transmission and mounts, and that all of this would be received on the 5th of June. June 10 @ 9am. I called to check the status of my vehicle. They informed me "the technician that is working on your vehicle just got married, so he isn't here". June 18 @ 4:18pm, I called to check the status of my vehicle. Was transferred 5 different times to "the service center", to only be transferred to Amanda, who said the systems are down, ant that the only thing that can be done, is to have an email sent. June 22 @12:56pm, Called to check the status of my vechicle, said the systems are down, ant that the only thing that can be done, is to have an email sent. June 22 @ 1:14 and 1:27pm. Spoke with a man named Stacie, who said they received the transmission on the 19th without the motor mounts and transmission mounts. That the motor mounts and transmission mounts came in on the 20th. June 26 @ 1:31pm, called Kia to check the status of my vechile. Spoke with Chris who said "Where is your car even located", then transferred me to Lisa who "sent an email to check the status of my vehicle". June 26 @1:49pm, I spoke with Stacie who answered my call with an attitude and stated "As I previously spoke and told your husband on Saturday, We will call you whenever your vehicle is done completely. The previous job took longer than expected. So your vehicle hasn't been brought in. There is a system-wide outage, and our systems are down". On June 29, we went to pick up my car at Kia of Macon. Good thing I kept up with the service quote, because their systems are still down, and they didn't even know how much I was supposed to still owe. The male service attendant to inform us that their systems are hacked and the hacker is asking for $30 million, to release their systems. Next time, I will be taking my business elsewhere. 🤬 More
I would have liked to give them five stars for their service but the lack of honesty of the Kia dealers prevents me from doing so. I took my car to the dealer to have the engine oil changed and tires ro service but the lack of honesty of the Kia dealers prevents me from doing so. I took my car to the dealer to have the engine oil changed and tires rotation. I made some marks on the tires to verify that they had rotated the tires. They charged me for the entire service. When they delivered the car to me I checked to see if they had actually rotated the tires. Surprise!!! They did not rotate the tires. They had to refund my money. This is not the first time this has happened to me. It seems to be the normal practice of Kia dealerships. More
I had a fabulous experience getting my Telluride’s 45K Service. Dropped my car off the afternoon before and it was ready the next morning. Chelsea was great to work with and very professional. I recently had 2 bad service visits with Son’s Kia in McDonough and I vowed to never return so I am glad I found Hutchinson even if it 45 minutes away. Thank you Chelsea. I would suggest that the sales team do a better job of coordinating their follow-up calls. I must of had 5 calls offering to give me an estimate to trade/purchase my Telluride. They were polite and not overly pushy.. More

Slow service center. Horrible customer service. Made me wait from 730 am until 400pm for my car to be serviced for a oil change plus a oil leak. Possibly that they cause Horrible customer service. On Oct 1,2022 I purchased a 2015 Kia Sorento from Hutchison Kia with a 1 year maintenance agreement and 4 year extended warranty. Was told when purchased it was covered bumper to bumper for first yea Hutchison Kia with a 1 year maintenance agreement and 4 year extended warranty. Was told when purchased it was covered bumper to bumper for first year with max on 100 out of pocket. After taking 2 months to get appointment to have some issues looked at took in on September 27 and was told filters for motor and cabin filter was not covered as well as rotors turning and would be 509.20 and they did not even look at the popping noise I told them about in steering column. For the one year 1000 dollars I paid got total of 2 oil changes and told nothing else was covered as for the sudden flaking paint it only had 3 year warranty. Contacted them before I came on here to see if could get any results on Oct 29 and was told would have someone from management contact me as of now 10-7 no one from there has contacted me and as for paint contacted Kia directly and was told Kia has no planned to correct the issue. Kia paint does not stick to metal as it is like they painted an oily surfaces and did not prep the vehicle for paint. If I could rate below 1 would but since one is the lowest guess that’s best can do. I give the rating to Hutchison and Kia both! DON’T BUY A KIA if you want it to look good for years. I have a 2002 white WV that looks better than the white 2015 KIA The paint is worthless and the touchup that they sold me is a joke doesn’t really match or work. More
Just an update. I contacted the owner or the Kia dealership (Michael Hutchinson) in order to get the service dept to give me an update on my 2015 Kia Sorento. I’ve had it 13 months when the motor went out. It’s been in the shop since the end of May. 4 months! Service dept says that there are 18 motors that have to be replaced before mine. 18! As they are taken in the order that they came in. He said some have been waiting since early April. I do have the extended warranty that was added at purchase of $4000 more to cover the motor. With that being said: DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM HITCHINSON KIA IN MACON. Their service department is lousy and for that many vehicles to be piling up there, I’m beginning to think that their vehicles are lousy as well. I’m a firm believer in giving feedback and word of mouth goes a long way.. BEWARE of Hutchinson Kia. ☠️💀 More
