Have been a Ford owner for 25+ years. This was my first purchase from Hutcheson. I have until now always been satisfied with the service. I bought my car, an also and extended bumper to bumper warranty, here and have always brought it back for anything it needed. When in for scheduled m I bought my car, an also and extended bumper to bumper warranty, here and have always brought it back for anything it needed. When in for scheduled maintenance if they suggest things needing to be done I pay for them to be taken care of. This time it was a recall for a problem with the door latches which was expected to take about 4 hours. I am a 72 year old widow and have been social distancing since the pandemic started a year ago, I did not feel safe sitting in the waiting area for 4 hours so asked them to loan me a car or give me a ride home. They said they could not do that but could rent me a car. Not at all happy about it I rented a car to get home, this cost me an extra $25. It was a very good thing I did because my car was not finished until about 9:00 the next morning. Recalls which are beyond my control are not supposed to cost me anything. I feel they took advantage of me. It was not any one person that I was upset with but the whole idea of the company profiting off the situation. In my opinion the door latches are within the area between the bumpers. More
