Huston Cadillac GMC responded

Huston Cadillac stands by the Cadillac CT6-V that was sold on 09/25/2021. The salesman involved was handled internally, as there is no way to verify said speed was attained during the delivery, however such speed would not impact the vehicle's ability to perform. The vehicle is certainly what it is advertised to do, as in order to reach high impact speeds at short distances, certain steps have to be taken by the owner such as activating Track Mode. All information about driving and operating the vehicle is outlined in the owner's manual located in the glove box. We did offer to check alignment, brakes and any other performance issues with the car. However, you chose instead to drop the vehicle off and tell us you did not want it any longer. We offered a fair price for this vehicle, this was simply a lack of knowledge about the vehicle, not a mechanical failure. There is a no cooling off period on vehicles in our state and the fact that the contract was booked/funded from the bank, we could not have cancelled the bank contract. The information you received from the bank was perhaps from an uneducated bank employee who was unfamiliar with booked/funded contracts.

Is it safe to assume that when a customer purchases a certified pre owned vehicle from Huston Cadillac they can expect the alignment to be off and the car the car to drift into other lanes, the brakes to be squealing, and the gm of the dealership to say in his own words "there is absolutely something wrong with this car"? Is it safe to assume that after a customer drives a car for the first time and realizes there are issues one could expect Huston Cadillac to offer $20,000 less to buy the car back even if the issues were made known immediately? Is it safe to assume that the finance department will lie and tell you there is no way to cancel the loan and it is impossible? I spoke with multiple MANAGERS at the bank, they have contacted your dealership multiple times requesting the funds back and you refused to send them. FLAT CANCEL is what it is called and they process them regularly. If a customer purchases multiple cars from your dealership and has a problem with one of them is this how they can expect to be treated? Any other GM dealership I have worked with would do the right thing and make sure the customer was happy. Is your dealership greedy or you are having some financial difficulties that need to be passed on to the customer? Either way this is taking up time from my family, business, and is a total waste of my money. I would like to speak with Tim before I decide to elevate the situation further. I have heard he is a reasonable and honorable man and hope he can help me here. I would be delighted to have the GM , finance director, and anyone else at the dealership get on a call with the manager at B of A for an education so this does not happen to anyone else. Please get back to me as soon as you can.
