This dealership is very dishonest , deceiving and corrupt . Go somewhere else . The headaches and stress not are with the few buck you save . We ended up buying the car, he spent at least 40 minutes showing everything in the car! Put gas in it for us, everything we addressed was done to our satisfaction. I would go back again and purchase. Do not stand by there customers I have a leased 2017 traverse LT with approximately 27,000 miles on it. My car would not start two times in the past 2 months. After trying multiple t I have a leased 2017 traverse LT with approximately 27,000 miles on it. My car would not start two times in the past 2 months. After trying multiple times I finally got it to start and the powered mirrors, locks, radio, A/C, etc. would not work... battery meter flipping up and down when I got it started. On my way to the dealership I kept hitting the buttons and boom everything came back just like the previous time. First time it happened my husband and I called Hurd multiple times and was told they did not have a rental car for us which I needed because I work a full time job in an Operating Room and have 3 children. Nevermind if I get called in for an emergency surgery and I don't have a reliable car or get stuck with my 3 toddlers in the car. Same thing every time I called until it happened again and I just drove there and demanded something be done. When I went there I was told the tire pressure was very low (23lbs) but no tire alert light was on the dash. After having the car for 6 days Hurd can't find the problem and there is NOTHING they can do to make it right for us! When I got home I checked the tire pressures that was supposed to be fixed when they had the vehicle...they are ALL exactly the same. My husband and I as well as a great deal of family have been loyal customers of Hurd. I would never buy/lease another vehicle from them, if you have a problem they will not stand by it. Extra bonus my mother in law bought a brand new Arcadia about six months ago and the black rims are peeling...she also has called several times to have this fixed and they continue to tell her the same thing no rental available. This is unacceptable. Don't waste your time or money on this dealership More

I wanted to share my car buy experience as it was head and shoulders above any other I have had. I made an appointment to buy a car, I was met by my sales person John V. at the door, he immediately listened to what I wanted in a vehicle. I found the vehicle I wanted that I had seen online and took it for a test drive. I told them where I needed to be for payment, down payment etc and they ensured I was comfortable with both and I purchased the vehicle. The finance person Greg was outstanding he had everything ready when I was introduced to him, and it was smooth sailing with all the paperwork. Hurd Auto Mall is a well oiled machine it runs like clockwork from sales to finance to insurance transfer. There are No Snake Oil sales techniques, no holding your keys hostage just here are the numbers if they work they work. Before you buy from anyone else go see Hurd Auto Mall in Johnston RI. if they have the car you want you will be happy you did. More

I have been looking at a new GMC Sierra for a few months and I found a great deal at Hurd Auto Mall. When I entered the dealership, I was greeted by Bob Hein. He was friendly and professional and he happened to be a veteran, we connected instantly! Bob was an honest salesman and did not try to push any unwanted sales pitch or scams that most of us are not interested in at all. Within an hour, I was signing on a new truck and out the door! What really impressed me was Bob had offered to come pick me up when I didnt have a ride to grab my truck. Thanks Bob for your outstanding customer service and the experience I had at Hurd Auto Mall. If you are interested in a new Chevy, Buick or GMC, give Hurd a visit. More

Once we agreed on a price, the finance team streamlined everything and made the entire process so quick and easy. This is a process I typically dread, but the entire Hurd team was so friendly, helpful and fast in getting me out of there — while making sure all my questions were answered — that it was a pleasure. The next time my family needs a vehicle, I will absolutely be back at Hurd. More
Dishonest dealer There's lots more I'm leaving out for the sake of brevity but basically here's what happened - Before purchasing the used vehicle, I brought it to a There's lots more I'm leaving out for the sake of brevity but basically here's what happened - Before purchasing the used vehicle, I brought it to an independent mechanic nearby (Anchor Subaru) for a pre-purchase inspection. - 2 main issues came up, 1 was a battery issue (easily fixable) and another was an engine leak. - I brought this up with Guy Clark (the sales rep) and was told verbally that it would be fixed before I get the vehicle. I also have it hand-written and signed on a piece of paper (though not sure how useful that is). - I go on a 2-week vacation - When I get back, I meet with Guy to pick up the vehicle. I ask about the documentation that shows the leak was fixed. He says he'll get it to me the next day. - So far, everything's going smoothly so I trust him (obviously wrongly). - Well, this is when the problem begins. I got back 8/2 and only after going to his manager James Kelley, do I manage to finally force him to get me the documentation on 8/24 - All it says on the documentation is "CHECK FOR LEAKS NOTHING FOUND". Can you imagine my shock at seeing this!? This is what he means when he says the problem will be "fixed", it's by literally ignoring it! - Well, in the 2.5 weeks since then, I have left countless voicemails and text messages with both Guy and James (and their receptionists are somehow NEVER able to find them in the office) but have not heard back at all. It should still be covered under the dealer warranty but something tells me they are going to have tricks up their sleeves there so I'm just going to cut my losses short, pay the $2-3k myself to get the engine leak fixed and report this to the authorities (BBB, FTC, RI Attorney General's Office etc.).
