I arrived today for my first service appointment at Hurd Automall after purchasing our Chevrolet Traverse a couple months ago from this same place. They offered the first maintenance appointment for free (only because it was paid for by the manufacturer). I arrived and pulled up into the bay on time for my appointment. I stood by my vehicle for 15 minutes before one of the 4 service reps in the bay actually acknowledged me. Finally, once they took my keys, they told me it would be about an hour. An hour and a half later, I went looking out in the bay and my car was sitting there....no one came to notify me that my car was ready. I waited again by my car in the bay for another ten minutes until the service rep (don't even know his name since he never introduced himself by name or anything to me) yelled accross the bay that I was "good to go". You would figure that if they want to make new customers, they would make sure that your FIRST service appointment was an exception experience and try to go above and beyond expectations. Other dealerships I've purchased cars from will provide wash/vaccum service free of charge for all service appointments. But here, I couldn't even get anyone to ackno0wledge I was there. Lost a potential service lifelong service customer. Also, I used the restroom in the waitingroom/showroom area and there was a sign that said "How to use the restroom: 1) Pee 2) Flush!". A condescending sign in the restroom for customers to see is very unprofessional as well. If there is a problem with urinals not getting flushed, look into self flushing urinals...don't leave a hand written, crappy unprofessional sign telling others "how to use the restroom". Just poor taste. More

For over a week, that price hadn't changed. Because that was the price listed, I didn't bother to haggle with Hurd over it. It wasn't until after I got home, that I noticed a different price on the finance paper. It was $400.00 more than the price listed on CarGurus. When I called Hurd to question it, I was told they reevaluate the market every three months and I JUST HAPPENED to buy it on the day it was changed. REALLY?? Obviously customer satisfaction and a five star rating doesn't mean as much to them as the $400.00 in their pocket. Make sure you read and question everything before signing. My mistake. More
Frontline sale people cannot make any decisions. The finance and sales managers are high pressure, rude and unethical. I signed a purchase agreement on a Saturday with scheduled appointment to pickup vehicle on Wednesday. It was a two hour drive for me. I was driving there with bank check, as scheduled, and learned they sold vehicle to someone else. They said I should have taken the higher rate financing and it would not have been a problem. I was preapproved for a low rate already and had disclosed that at time I signed PO. Classic bait and switch. Unethical, unprofessional classic used car salesmen. Don't waste your time at Hurd. There are plenty of other places that are honest and upright. More

I made the mistake, please learn from it. I leased and was lied to about the termination of the contract. I am not bitter, I just want others to be aware of the kind of people they are dealing with. It is my fault, I should have read every line. I will never do business with Hurd or GM for that matter ever again. Please be careful. If I could have given negative stars I would have. More
Horrible service should have noticed all the "One Star" reviews. Made an apt to drop of my truck for a sagging seat and road shimmy. It's gong on 3 weeks. My 2019 Trax was due for an oil change. I made the appt. 2 weeks ago. Because of the pandemic I requested a home pickup and dropoff at my house They were going to pickup my car between 10:00 and 11:00 whi 2 weeks ago. Because of the pandemic I requested a home pickup and dropoff at my house They were going to pickup my car between 10:00 and 11:00 which never happened. Called Hurd and I was told there was a problem but they would be there .Never happened. Called again and cancelled and guess what? They were here at 1:05 for my car. Hurd had never notified them that I had cancelled I have been a customer for 20 years and this is how I was treated. Will never use Hurd again for anything. More
Absolutely horrible service! I dropped my 2019 Sierra off because the breaks kept engaging on their own and bring my vehicle to a complete stop on several occasions. It’s been a full 24 hours later I’ve received no phone calls and have been stuck without a vehicle because they’ve denied me a loaner until they diagnose the problem. When I called them to see what was going on with my vehicle, there was no one around to answer any of my questions because everyone has gone home for the day. The receptionist and told me I probably won’t be able to get in touch with anybody until Monday.... More
Be very cautious!! I purchased a used 2015 GMC Sierra from Hurd in February. In May (only 2200 miles later) I had the first opportunity to use the AC and found it did n I purchased a used 2015 GMC Sierra from Hurd in February. In May (only 2200 miles later) I had the first opportunity to use the AC and found it did not work. I immediately brought the vehicle in and was informed that it needed a new condenser and would cost close to $1000 for the job. They sold me a vehicle with a broken air conditioner and refuse to stand behind it! Who uses AC in 30 degree weather! I have purchased from Hurd in the past and considered them to be an excellent dealership however after this experience I warn you, Hurd has changed and cannot be trusted! Take a word of warning and take your business elsewhere! More

Could not complete transaction because my salesmen had the next day off. At this time my salesmen left the dealership. Apparently I was lost in the shuffle. On day 5 and 6 I had 6 different people try to figure out the paperwork and could not. They where to busy with others to help me. I then decided to cancel the deal. 7 days after I agreed to purchase the vehicle the GM contacted me to try to get me to reconsider. He was the most condescending customer service person I have ever dealt with. To the point that I stated that I would like to share my customer experience with the owner. The GM stated that the owner would only listen to him. The next day I went to a dealer 2 buildings down and had it completed within 2 hours. More
