We ended up purchasing our car here, but wanted to pay cash (from our insurance settlement) and were pushed into financing to get a better deal. We were told our final number would be x, but they didn't t cash (from our insurance settlement) and were pushed into financing to get a better deal. We were told our final number would be x, but they didn't take into consideration that our EV car had a $100 more registration fee, so our number was over the number they said. Additionally, I was not allowed to put any money down prior to financing as I was told I would be able to. So we had to finance the whole amount at a percentage that was not told to us until the paperwork was being signed. We were told it would be between x and y percent and it was actually more than y even that we both have good credit scores. I really wanted to purchase this car in cash, but was pushed into financing to save a couple thousand dollars and I feel like they were not considerate at all toward that desire. Then once they got us to agree to financing, they took advantage on multiple different occasions where I was not able to put money down and my percentage was higher. Additionally, if they really wanted to push me into financing, my final out the door number should have been considered in the amount of interest I would be paying. We will be paying this off as soon as possible. We left the car, but I am not happy about my overall experience. More
