My new 2021 Honda HR-V has rust underneath the steering column and underneath the car. Is this normal for a brand new car that I've only had for 30 days? Huntington Honda also installed a car starter and never gave me the manual, despite me asking for it on 2 different occasions in person and then them saying they will email it to me. Still haven't received anything. I'm asking myself whether they installed a non-authorized Honda part on my car. Why else would they be so evasive? Another strange experience was I was offered bottle of water when I arrived to first look at the car. A weeks later, when bringing the HR-V for a service to inspect the xxxx annoying whistle noise inside the car, they let me test drive another Honda. I asked for water and the sales guy looked perplexed and said he'd attempt to find me a cup for the water. I was given a styrofoam cup of water. I'm feeling after I signed for the purchase, I was dead to them. Starting to wonder if their refusal to help me fix the defects (rust and noise) is also because I'm Asian. Why am I getting the cold shoulder from Huntington Honda? Check out Youtube for a whistle noise on HRVs and you'll see that the piercing whistle noise has been happening in HR-Vs since 2018. There must be something wrong with this model (HR-V). And I've dropped 200 miles on this car taking it to Huntington Honda, and they have not helped at all. Honda must have known about this noise defect since 2018. That's 4 years they've had to fix this defect. Maybe that's why Huntington Honda did a 0%APR, so they could get rid of their defective inventory. Seriously, why aren't they helping me get this car fixed. More

The Finance Manager Mike was one of the most unprofessional employees I’ve ever encountered. He was deceptive and lied about pricing after I put down a payment. His attitude was disgusting and he was very sneaky. Said he couldn’t inform of the price change over the phone. He knew I needed a car, knew the distance I travelled and took advantage. My only advice is BE PREPARED TO WALK OUT. DO NOT LET THEM TAKE ADVANTAGE! More

Buyer beware. Always review the paperwork and do t get bait and switched like I did. They presented me with 1 offer and their finance team with another. Then the salesman left for the day and could not be bait and switched like I did. They presented me with 1 offer and their finance team with another. Also now receiving following up phone calls from their finance team because they did not complete the paperwork- just seems unprofessional. What kind of show are these folks running? Long Island has plenty of dealerships- go to someone else instead. More

Huntington Honda was so easy to work with! We knew what car we wanted so we called them and they had exactly what we wanted. We worked out all of the details over the phone, and then just went in to sign p car we wanted so we called them and they had exactly what we wanted. I have leased and bought at least 10 cars from this man and for that I would expect some better than average service. Well what he gave me was way below average. I was nice enough to give him my friend and and for that I would expect some better than average service. Well what he gave me was way below average. I was nice enough to give him my friend and brother as a lead for a car purchase and he wouldn't even have the courtesy to return my call. When he ignored the first call I called him the 2nd time and he apologized and promised a callback within 30 minutes and that never happened either. He must be selling so many cars and making so much money he doesn't need me anymore. Well there's no way I ever go back to this dealership and will never buy a car from this man again. More
