A friend's mom recommended this location to me, and it was a great recommendation. I left with a pretty "brand new" used car that I was comfortable with, and felt I could afford. I appreciated Salesperson Jordan's honesty through the whole process. He gained my trust, because he was very easy to talk to, very accommodating, patient, and very relatable. He understood what I was comfortable with, and never tried to push me in any unnecessary direction. I am so grateful to have worked with him! Finance Manager JT was also very helpful and easy to work with. He was patient, knowledgable, and accommodating. He knew what I was looking for, and tried his best to get the numbers right for me. I left with more coverage, but lower monthly payments, so that was great added bonus. The process took longer than expected, with a lot downtime. But overall, this is a great location to come to to get awesome service from beginning to end. More

Horrible customer service experience. I went there on 7/18/21 at 4pm to look for a CR-V . The receptionist was unfriendly, clueless and aloof. It would have been better if she wasn’t there at all. Not only as a loyal customer, but a loyal family to Honda, saying our experience was disappointing is an understatement. Based on our previous experience with Huntington Honda, I will never purchase/le Honda, saying our experience was disappointing is an understatement. Based on our previous experience with Huntington Honda, I will never purchase/lease a vehicle from them again. My 2018 Honda Civic EXL lease was up and I went back to Huntington Honda based on our exceptional experience with Ray Shaw, who we found out was let go, which is a major loss to Huntington. However, I wanted to remain loyal to Huntington and was introduced to LJ. Immediately, LJ informed my family and I that he was pulled to the front from the preowned sales side to help with the volume of customers. I informed him that I wanted the same car I had (Civic EXL), but also wanted to look at their HRVs and CRVs. Due to the chip shortage, he mentioned there were no HRVs, CRVs, or Civic EXLs. This made my decision easy because I knew I would not lease another Honda based on the lack of inventory. However, LJ showed me the Clarity, and told me he wanted me to test drive the car and stated he wanted my parents to stay in the showroom so he could show me the car alone. I was uncomfortable, as at five previous dealerships, they all said car salesmen cannot test drive cars with you due to Covid19. On the other hand, my mother was leasing a Jeep Grand Cherokee with 17k miles on it. She was interested in looking at the Passport, as her lease was up the same time as mine. When discussing the Passport, LJ mentioned that he found a Civic EXL on a different lot that they can bring over. I stated I wanted to physically see the car before agreeing to any deal. Approximately fifteen minutes later, LJ said they have the EXL on the lot. I was confused on how we went from no car, to the car on a different lot, to having the car on the Huntington lot in about an hour. He brought me to the lot and the car was buried in the back lot. I asked numerous questions about the car's features to which every question I asked he said, “I honestly don’t know” and laughed. Honesty is appreciated but to not have any questions answered about a car was frustrating. However, after viewing the exterior of the car, the car seemed to be okay. On Saturday, June 26 we agreed to a deal and would pick up the car Monday, June 28th at 6:00. We all have work and LJ said he gets off work at 7:00 so 6:00 was the best time. My mother was still interested in the Passport and we agreed to discuss payment options Monday. On Monday, my mom received a phone call from LJ in the morning stating we had an appointment to pick up the Civic and Passport at 1:00. First, no deal was made on the Passport. Second, we never agreed to a pickup time of 1:00 because we all have work. Following her phone call, I received two phone calls, one from LJ and one from a manager, questioning when I was coming in and needing to know my ETA. I stated again our appointment was 6:00. My parents and I arrived on time, and LJ sarcastically and immediately said, “Wow, looks like someone is in a good mood”. He seemed annoyed and angry as he told us he had other customers and we said our appointment was 6:00. In the meantime, LJ told us to test drive the Passport. We did so and waited a long time before he attended to us. He told us to go look at the Civic in which it was still buried in the same exact spot. Additionally, he then told my mother the Passport is a demo and the manager has been driving it around. My mom said she was interested in one that was not a demo. From that point, LJs demeanor changed. He questioned my mother on what the big deal of having that car was. He did not try to converse with us and was definitely angered. Meanwhile, at financials, and looking at the contract, we said LJ did not explain the car or the interior. We were told everything would be explained to us. Once the financials were worked out, LJ handed me the keys and said, “You know how that car works here”. Furthermore, he did not want to discuss the Passport and went back inside the showroom immediately, without saying a word. His unfriendliness and lack of awareness was just the start to a horrible experience. The second I drove off the lot, there was an issue with the car. My screen periodically becomes completely pixelated, turning black, white, and the buttons on the steering wheel do not work. This issue was immediate but because I drove off the lot, they said it was a service problem. After one month, this issue is yet to be solved. We have gone to two service departments and filed a claim with Corporate. However, Corporate said they are so backed up with complaints and have short staffing, therefore, we are on a long waiting list as our supposed case manager is now on leave. We were fair and wanted Huntington Honda to solve this issue before taking it to social media. However, after a month of having this lemon car, it is yet to be solved. I am in college and commute 100+ miles a day to school and sports practice all over Long Island. I need a reliable, safe, and functioning car to ensure my safety. They claimed it was an issue with my phone and I needed to delete the app “Waze '' and use “Maps”. My sister leased a 2021 Civic EX two -weeks prior to me. I have no issue pairing my phone and can use all the same apps that were used in my 2018 lease. Her screen works and the buttons on the steering wheel are functioning. If this was a problem with my phone, the screen would not be turning black and white, and the buttons on the steering wheel would work. I had the same phone when I leased my 2018 lease and had no problems. We have spoken to numerous managers and nothing is resolved. Huntington stated they would replace the screen for us and now are stating they will not do it. The second I drove off the lot, the car was not working. I have proof of all issues with the car. We should not be financially responsible or accountable for this. We should not be having an issue with a brand- new car. We should have a resolution. I am not safe driving this car. Every day something does not work. How do I know the engine is not the next thing to go? I went down to Huntington Honda to speak to the manager, and LJ was standing in front of me and did not say one word. LJ has yet to reach out or show any consideration for the situation. The fact that we have given them one month to solve this and we cannot even get a phone call in return is disgusting. Do not go to Huntington Honda or see LJ. More
