I should have seen the signs...longer waits as the salesman went back and forth , " let me have your credit card to show your serious ,finance man has a different story ...etc..etc.... So a month later it has cost me $1000. already and days of aggravation ....DO NOT WAIT FOR A CALL BACK ONCE THE SALE IS DONE !!!! IF YOU DON'T CALL--THERE WILL BE NO CALL .. I will state right now -up front that my title for a 1997 car stilled showed a lien from the original owner in 1997. I own the car for years and never had a loan or lien. this is a New York State motor vehicle error. They said this happens all the time ,and they have people that can straighten this out this week and will send you a check for that amount but could not give me the trade in allowance at signing.So a month later I am donating my car to Long Island Cares from their property. Was I updated?...NO....Did I get phone calls?..NO. Will I go to Huntington again?..NO!! I FEEL SO JERKED AROUND AND FOOLISH ...... once the sale was made ......good-by More

We did our research and spoke with other dealers non of which could come close to the bargain we got from Alam and crew at Huntington Honda West. I have been in contact with their service department regarding maintenance on my first Honda and Aaron and Jared and the quality of service has been 5 star. I loved the customer service that I received from Julius. He was very patient and didn't rush me into a sale like the typical salesmen at other dealerships. I needed a small spring that prevents the brake pads from dragging for my 2004 Civic Hybrid. I was told that I would have to buy a complete set of pads ( which I don't need) to get one. I asked the servic dragging for my 2004 Civic Hybrid. I was told that I would have to buy a complete set of pads ( which I don't need) to get one. I asked the service manager if he would save a old one for me since they throw them out when replacing pads. He said he wouldn't. I don't understand this attitude and I don't think I want to do business with Huntington Honda any more. More

My experience with Huntington Honda was very mixed. When I first went to the dealership I was helped by Tom, who was extremely helpful. Tom showed me around the room and discussed different options. I agreed on a car that I liked, and was excited to maybe pursue it. At no point did I indicate I planned on 100% buying it. After searching I sat down with Tom to discuss prices. After 5 minutes I had a contract slapped infront of my face and Tom asked me to sign. I started to feel very pressured and assured him I wasn't ready to buy yet! I was just looking! Tom responded by saying, "Well I'm not sure if the car will be here, so this is your decision." I felt extremely pressured- not by Tom but by the fact that I loved this car. I went back later in the day and ended up purchasing it. Up until this point the service was "good." When I went to pick up the car, that is when things went south. I made an appointment to come on a morning later in the week. When I arrived the car was not ready, nor was Tom. People were scrambling around the dealership while I waited 30 minutes. Tom then did not have the correct information on my title, and had to go to the DMV. When Tom returned, the Vin# was wrong, and he returned to the DMV again. Mind you that Tom was taking my vehicle back and forth-- yes the one I was purchasing! I then sat down with the financial person, Mike. This is where I thought customer service did not go well. I felt very belittled by Mike, as if he was speaking to me like I was dumb. We had a bit of trouble with the insurance company and getting out address correct. Mike made an extremely rude comment to my fiance while he was on the phone-- saying he needs to "tell" the insurance company-- implying my fiance was not being pushy enough. I didn't appreciate this because It was not his business how we spoke to OUR insurance company on the phone. Mike continued to make snide remarks, and make us both feel pretty stupid. After this, another issue happened where our salesman had to go back to the DMV, yes in my car again. Finally we were able to make our payment, three and a half hours later. No apology was given for THEIR mistakes, no compensation was offered for WASTING our time and NOT being ready to sell us the vehicle. Instead we were made to feel as if we were a burden on them! I truly feel that before purchasing my vehicle this dealership treated me very well. However once the papers were signed, we were treated less than well. The entire staff became rude, impatient, and condescending to my fiance and I. Overall I was not very satisfied with this dealership. Happy I purchased a good car, for a good price-- but very unhappy with the customer service we received. More
