After test driving 10 plus cars of different makes and models, and talking to at last as many dealerships, it was Ted and Salem of Hyundai at Huntington Beach that finally had us signing the paperwork for models, and talking to at last as many dealerships, it was Ted and Salem of Hyundai at Huntington Beach that finally had us signing the paperwork for our new 2023 Palisade Calligraphy. From the moment we received a call from Ted, letting us know that the car we had decided on was in stock, our dealings with this dealership was the smoothest and most honest we had experienced. There was zero negativity on the sales floor and every exchange was enjoyable. Ted was a pleasure to work with along with Salem. I would be more than happy buy from them again. More
A COMPLETE SCAM. I went in to look at a pre-owned Mazda CX-5. Once they pulled up the car for us to test drive, we noticed that the sticker on the car - it was priced I went in to look at a pre-owned Mazda CX-5. Once they pulled up the car for us to test drive, we noticed that the sticker on the car - it was priced $12,000 more than what was advertised online. When we asked the salesperson about this he casually said "oh yeah this is the total cost for the car + its features". Mind you, he was never going to bring up the price - we had to notice the discrepancy ourselves. How is that legal or ethical? I've never had such a shocking and unpleasant experience at a dealer in my life. I wish I read these reviews before wasting my time. More
The bait and switch and never call you back. I literally test drove. Said I would buy the 2022 Tesla lr. Said would pick up the following Sunday. Already had financing. Salesman told me ok. I' I literally test drove. Said I would buy the 2022 Tesla lr. Said would pick up the following Sunday. Already had financing. Salesman told me ok. I'll run it by manager and call you back the same day . Never ever even recieved a call back and they sold the car. How in the world is this horrible place still in business. Based on other reviews they donthe bait and switch. They tried to charge me about 5500$ more for extras they said ," they" added told them I don't need any of that. Honor the advertise price. Plus tax license registration. Nope I never got a call back. To this day. Stay clear of this scam of a dealership. I am contacting the better business bureau . More
Should have read the reviews before wasting 3 hours driving and looking at a vehicle - this dealership specializes in BAIT & SWITCH - advertised low price, actual price $5,000 higher b/c of "manatoryad driving and looking at a vehicle - this dealership specializes in BAIT & SWITCH - advertised low price, actual price $5,000 higher b/c of "manatoryadd ons." This is a standard practice at this dealership. I can't believe this is legal in California of all places. Don't believe them, don't trust them, recognize that their BBB rating is a D-, purchase a vehicle anywhere else, they are arrogant bullying cheaters. General manager comments on bad reviews, but doesn't take or return phone calls. More

Salem, our salesman- he listened to us, understood us, went to bat for us, and made our purchase happen at a price we were all content with. Salem, you are an amazing young man. Even if things had not worked out, we would have walked away with a lot of respect for you. HBH thank you, you have a piece of gold in Salem. Salem we wish you the very best in all your endeavors. Then during the " They listed a 2020 Kia SOUL gt for $23K which was a fair deal per KBB. Went in for a test drive and everything seemed fine... Then during the payment/negotiationg ... they decided to add $8,000 in extras and they didn't mention this over the phone or on their online ad which to me is dishonest. So this place uses low price to get you in the door but they won't let you leave unless you pay $2k-$8k in unwanted extra ... Like seriously $2000 for an "Electric Liscence Plate" ... $500 for nitrogen in tires... Seriously don't bother with any listings with these guys.. its 100% a bait and switch because you will never just pay the price listed online. Will be reporting this establishment to BBB and anywhere else so people don't waste there time... My sales agent Roberto was super nice ... The only good part of my trip was finding out how these dealers will sneak in unwanted extras so the trip wasn't a total loss. THANK YOU FOR THE HARD LESSON Hunting Beach Hyundai. More
Went in to view a new vehicle they just received as a trade in, it was a 2014 model car selling price 25,991 discounted to 22,991. Now this sounds like a good deal, average miles for the year now what’s trade in, it was a 2014 model car selling price 25,991 discounted to 22,991. Now this sounds like a good deal, average miles for the year now what’s wrong with this vehicle? Went in talked to a salesman who said “ the car hasn’t been inspected through service since it barely came In “ no worries let’s see. They have $6000 of add ons for there inventory. Now since this vehicle hasn’t been touch to service no add ons have been placed. They still force you to buy the add on or NO DEAL. What a joke! Had a check in my car from credit union and they didn’t want to budge on price nor take off add on features. DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME AND IF YOU DO, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THE “ BEFORE DISCOUNT PRICE “ is what you will pay plus fees and extra items they want to add. Thank you To the father of Kevin who didn’t even try and make a deal. No counter offer nothing. Go to Another location for a better service and better customer Service! ALSO! MANAGEMENT NEVER WILL CALL BACK NOR HELP. More
Full of lying snakes. Don’t finance with them. I would avoid this dealership at all costs. Went with my sister to purchase her car earlier this year and just barley Don’t finance with them. I would avoid this dealership at all costs. Went with my sister to purchase her car earlier this year and just barley finished dealing with the fiasco that started when purchasing a car here to write a review. We were helped by Roberto. To preface the rest of the review- I should mention this was both of our first time buying a new car. I thought we were having a decent experience but as soon as we paid it all unraveled. We were lied to, taken advantage of and put through xxxx afterwards trying to deal with the financing department , specifically Tony, and the bank. Roberto lied to us about the car and incentives. The car didn’t have the nice upgraded instrument cluster , sun roof or wireless charging we were promised nor did we get any charging credit. The credits he kept referring to were also much less than what he states. Although, I will take the blame for that since I could have checked on my own. You hear the stories of the dishonest cars salesman but Roberto seemed so genuine we assumed we found a good one and trusted him without verifying. Probably our biggest mistake after going to this dealership in the first place. Actually I take that back, first is going here, second is financing with them and third was trusting Roberto. Now the issue with the financing. My mother co-signed with my sister on the loan. She had an amazing credit score but my sisters was ok. this dealership shopped their application around so much my moms credit dropped 60 pts. This was after we were told the bank rejected the application and we argued with Tony for an hour to stop since we wanted to go with our own bank. He consistently refused saying they had already found a lender which we found out later was a lie .we received all the rejection letters from the banks they submitted the application to and noticed the dates listed were after the date we spoke to him. The bank that finally agreed was 5th 3rd bank and they’re terrible. More like thieves than a bank but that’s for another review. All in all a nightmare of an experience. I was going to go back to purchase an ionic 5 but I’d rather walk my commute to LA before going back here. More
There are no words to describe how this place does business. I came into buy a car at their advertised price, and was told by the salesperson after the $6k in adds that that’s the way business is don business. I came into buy a car at their advertised price, and was told by the salesperson after the $6k in adds that that’s the way business is done nowadays for them to make money. I even took 2 of the adds as a compromise at a negotiated price, said we had a deal and then asked me about financing. I told him I was paying cash, then he said deal is no longer valid. C’mon guys, you should be ashamed of yourselves. I can’t believe I was willing to even pay $2k over the advertised price on the web to then have you decline my business because you had hoped to rip me off in financing. Can someone just please shut you all down for good? This is real bad here people, I know you gotta make a living but how do you all live with yourselves and call yourselves a “Dealership”. I implore you all to not waste any time here and go elsewhere. The GM is not making changes here, it’s been happening for years so don’t let his responses fool you, it’s all a lie. Please shut down and spare us the hassle. More
