Went to look at a Certified Pre-Owned car advertised online. We were interested in buying at the advertised price. Took if for a test drive and was told during drive that the price did not include "pain online. We were interested in buying at the advertised price. No where in the online advertisement was there ANY mention of the rip off add on cost. Bait and switch is alive and well at Huntington Beach Hyundai! No thanks. Will file a complaint with State of California. More
I had the exact same happen to me with the extra $1000 of "dealer installed options" which were useless to me. It was a used car I was buying, they just got it in. The ac wasn't working, there was sqeaking noise in the cabin, and it needed tires. I told them to put new brake pads, fix the noise and ac. After the car was delivered, I noticed they didn't fix the noise and didn't do the brake pads.The ac was working however, 4 weeks later it stopped blowing cold air. They didn't diagnose the ac and repair, they just charged it with freon and it leaked out. And they were supposed to do some ceramic paint coating, witch of course they did not. Cheesy dealership who doesn't care for their customers and will rip you off in a second. Buyer beware! More

The entire team at HUNTINGTON BEACH HYUNDAI is fantastic, they exceed expectations, and their customer service is unmatched. My wife and I commented to each other that this was the best car buying experience ever (That includes buying a car directly from a general manager who was a friend). The whole process was seamless, comfortable, and effortless. We purchased a 2023 Ioniq 5. Our salesman was JOE K, and he was awesome! JOE is just a great guy. He is friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and above all else honest. JOE truly cares about the customer, and he goes out of his way to work with you and make sure you are satisfied with the whole process. MIKE the sales manager is another asset to HUNTINGTON BEACH HYUNDAI. MIKE is laid-back, friendly, honest, and goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcome at the dealership. The finance team at HUNTINGTON BEACH HYUNDAI is also terrific. ROBERTO and TONY are friendly, professional, and they explain the entire financing process. They are completely transparent about the contract. Both TONY and ROBERTO were a pleasure to work with and a pleasure to talk to while finalizing the deal. The General Sales Manager FARIS was also great, and another person that makes HUNTINGTON BEACH HYUNDAI an incredible dealership. FARIS is a friendly and genuine guy that also cares about the customer’s experience. It was a pleasure meeting and talking to him. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this team and the dealership. I highly recommend making them your first stop and speaking with JOE K when buying a car. Pathetic after sales customer service, Once you are out of the door after giving them your money they don’t event talk to you… They are not even clear what they are doing… I was clear I need commercial veh of the door after giving them your money they don’t event talk to you… They are not even clear what they are doing… I was clear I need commercial vehicle registration and they were saying to YES to every thing and after all processing done they switched said” can’t do commercial registration” somehow Finance Team Took care of it but I am still waiting to get response from them because it’s been 50+ days I made my purchase and there still no clue of where my registration is … Every time I call there DMV clerk “ CHASSIDY “ is not in office .. From past 50 days I called like 30 times and she wasn’t there “looks like we need this job where you are not required to be at office all the time… People please be sure what are you buying and from whom you are buying your used or new car you might end up in situation where you will feel like betrayed or scammed … Be sure you do your research … More

Dishonest pricing and scam! They advertise at Kelly Blue Book pricing online and once you get to their dealership they up the price $6K or more with "add-ons" and explained that They advertise at Kelly Blue Book pricing online and once you get to their dealership they up the price $6K or more with "add-ons" and explained that is really the market price for the car. If you do your research beforehand you'll clearly see its a game to get you there and they won't make an honest sale. Trade-in negotiations too were a joke! Better off selling private party or to another reputable dealer. You can see Kelly Blue Book pricing for your vehicle and what's fair for an asking price for trade in and they come in ridiculously low. So not only will they be making a huge profit on your trade in but they will also scam you out of thousands on the price of the car you're purchasing there. Just read all the similar reviews for this dealership and save yourself the time! More

On 4/3/2023, I came to Huntington Beach Hyundai and inquiry Elantra 2023 SEL Convivence package. I told Cristian and Eric that I am dealing with another dealer in Los Angeles area and if you can give me same deal then i will buy the car here so I don't have to drive all the way to LA. Due promotion 0% for 48 months expired 4/3/2023 so I want to get it done by yesterday with promotion. I shows them my deal with another dealer $420 for 48 months with $5000 down. This dealer asking for $440 for 48 months with $5000 down payment at 6:30 PM. I said No if you can match with other dealer so I have to go there now before they close at 8:00 PM. I left this dealer with my son and on the way to go to other dealer. About 7:20 PM , Eric sale person called me and told me that his manager agrees to sale to me $420 to match with another dealer. I told Eric (OK) I will make a UTurn and go back to your dealer I will be there around 7:45 PM. Then, 7:30 Eric called me again and told me that I can come back tomorrow and his Manager still able to award $420 a month to me because they almost close the building for today. I asked Eric that Are you sure because I want to get it done today because tomorrow my Son have school late and I mentioned the promotion expire today. Eric said don't worry , promised. This morning , Cristian sale person call me and I told him I will be there after work at 5 PM and get it done but Cristian now said they can not give me $420 any more. I asked him to to talk to Eric to what he said to me yesterday but Eric ran away from me. I told Cristian that Eric told me come back tomorrow otherwise I will be there around 10-15 mins before 8PM last night. Ridiculous, Cristian now said Eric told you $420 a month but he did not said how many months or term. REALLY ????? all yesterday we sat down and discussed about 48 months with 0% financing. Later. They really ??? SCAM AND LIES. Later, I talked to Faris General Sale Manager but he driving me to different story. No wonder all employees under his leadership all LIES. I am trying to contact General Manager Ahed Karmach by phone and email but I still waiting for responses. I also will making complaining to Hyundai consumer affair and corporation to report this scam of business. And also, contact to city councils and other news companies for this business. More
