Though it is 15 years old it has less than 50,000 miles, has always been garaged and well kept..... not a daily driver. It was nearly 2 weeks later when I dove the car at night for the first time since going to HB ford. That is when i discovered that the speedometer dash light was out. Brought the car back to HB ford and after inspection was told that a FEM module needed replacement. A small electrical part that cost over $700.00 plus $480.00 in labor!!! For what appeared to be a burnt out light bulb!! That by the way was working perfectly before my original visit to HB ford. Of course when this was brought up the service writer stated there was no connection to the electrical fuel system repairs ...just a coincident ......I don't think so.. Late Thursday afternoon over a week later i was called to pickup the car, After reluctantly paying for what I still consider a repair that was caused by the previous service my car was brought out to the front. Santa Ana winds have been blowing all week, the outside of my car was filthy with dust and mechanics hand prints. But worse the windows must have been open all week because there was dust covering the entire interior. The level of customer care is the lowest i have ever experienced at a dealership or independent repair facility. Slow, Irresponsible, inconsiderate, overpriced and sloppy. More

Check engine light comes on Just when i park my car in FHB Drove my car to Quick Line for a regular oil change. I walked into office ( first mistake left my car out of my sight) and i ask for service to " Sergio" other employee he said he's going to get some information from my car. It was only 2 minutes since i left my car and Sergio back to the office. He notify to me that "Check engine light is on". I said how come i just was driving my car to here and the light was off!. So i don't understand how this things happen: Check engine light means: $$$ and time. I get pissed off because: when i get to "Ford Huntington Beach " and park my car the Check engine light was off! in 2 minutes since i just left my car suddenly light comes "on" . I left FHB and went to look third party opinion, i ran scaner and the code P0460 show up! Reprograming the PCM. false code generated. i was doing a re search what happen: Any change in the electric voltage create a False code by the car computer. HOW THAT HAPPEN? when "some person" pull out the sensor plug from the jack and plug it back create a over voltage and the computer create a bad lecture! it takes 5 seconds. u$ 130 bucks later..... i paid for the computer re programing. That it was intentionally provoked "for one of the employees" Getting ready BBB report; maybe im not get my money back but ill to prevent more customers get riped off. Please be careful with this people. More
Came in for oil change, left with double washed car I came in for a routine oil change for my 2015 Ford Fiesta ST and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. More, one of the service techs, actually had my car washed. When he came to see me off, he realized they just ran it through the car wash. He took the car back and hand washed my car and returned it. I was very surprised and grateful. This dealership is extremely military friendly! More

Bad Servcie About two month ago I went with my new 2015 Ford F-150 Platinum and it had a problem since I got it with the seat belt at the back seat driver side, t About two month ago I went with my new 2015 Ford F-150 Platinum and it had a problem since I got it with the seat belt at the back seat driver side, they told me that it needed a part and they have to order it from Ford International, through two month I tried to contact the dealer and check on the order however you can't go through their phone system, they put you on hold for long time and then hang-up on you, to the point that I had to go to meet with the service specialists Aguilar, Virgilio which he advise that it is still at back order, finally he call me yesterday and said to bring the truck, I dropped the truck today in the morning around 9:45am I didn't hear anything until 2:00pm, I tried to call the dealer to check and the service department receptionist put me on hold for over 30 minuets and then hang-up on me and when I called back and I asked why did she do that, she was very rude, I asked to speak to a service supervisor and she transferred me to some other lady when I asked her about her name and title if she is a service supervisor she said it depends...? at this point I was very upset and I had a friend to drop me to the dealer, and I found out that the truck was read and no one called me, and they didn't even wash it as I requested in the morning, I spoke with the service manager he wasn't helpful nor interested even when I told him this would be my first and last time at this dealer, horrible service and I don't recommend this location to anyone, I will try another location to go to and I will report them to Ford international may be they care More
Your one of the good ones I have been a customer at hb ford for over 2 years. There was a mishap with my vehicle but the dealership told me they would fix it and they did. Everyone is friendly a lot of former military personnel in sales. I'm pretty sure I saw one in that movie Act of Valor but i'm not sure, yet that's neither here nor there. The fact is they made good on a situation that was unfortunate, and kept a promise. I'll be bringing the car back for its scheduled maintenance. If you enjoy being treated well, HB Ford may be a relief to an otherwise exhausting and possibly insulting vehicle purchasing nightmare. More
I am not sure exactly where to begin about the unethical dealings going on at Huntington Beach Ford. We purchased a used 2002 Mercury Mountaineer on Jun 5th, during the finance part of the dealings we asked dealings going on at Huntington Beach Ford. We purchased a used 2002 Mercury Mountaineer on Jun 5th, during the finance part of the dealings we asked for our payments to be around $300 per month, we settled on $350 per month, the finance person tried to sell us an extended warranty for $50 per month, we declined, he then magically told us he would give us the warranty for free, so we signed up. Max, the finance guy then quite rudely insisted we THANK him for the "free" warranty. We drove the vehicle home that evening, discovering loud rattles from the transmission and when we took time to read over all the paperwork we had we noticed our car payment was actually $304 per month and a $46 per month charge for the “Free” warranty. I drove to the dealership the next day and spoke with the finance guy who then threw a tantrum and I really do mean a tantrum!!! His response to my questions was to tell me he would remove the warranty, increase our interest rate to 24% keeping the $350 payment the same without warranty and that’s that!!! I picked up my paperwork and left and spoke with the desk manager. He assured me they would take care of the problems with the vehicle, several visits later they now want me to authorize a $1000 teardown and inspection of the transmission, I will only have to pay I believe a $100 deductible, is this normal for a dealership?? Sell a broken used car, sell a warranty and bill both the customer and Warranty Company for repairs on the said broken vehicle. I have been unable to speak with the GM of the dealership…..he is very elusive Mister Omar. I am very angry at paying and financing a vehicle - a Ford CERTIFIED used vehicle- that has a known tranny prob. It was there the night we drove it home. THEY promised to fix it and now a month later here we sit with no vehicle and no RESPONSE from the dealership! DONT EVER PURCHASE A VEHICLE HERE! The only pleasant part was Eddie the sales guy. Everything else has been a nightmare. Is this what FORD calls customer service? When I bought my civic HONDA fixed every tiny thing for free- in hopes of return business. I guess this dealership just wants to make one quick sale and thats that. To xxxx with customer service. VERY disheartening! More
