It was deceptive, no 2 ways around that. Your salespeople had ample opportunities to disclose the extra $10k and $4500. Instead, you wasted 9 weeks of my time. Had you disclosed that information on day 1, I would have said Thanks, and taken my business elsewhere and not lost 9 weeks waiting. Now I have to wait another weeks minimum for another truck to be built. There is no compensation for that. I know that Special Orders that are sold are being built with a higher priority than regular dealer allocations. Your Sales Manager straight up told me he'll just sell it to someone else for $10k over the sticker. He was more than happy to have one on the lot. And as for the $4500 Premium Package, when I arrived to the lot, none of that had been installed. Yes, I looked at the windows to find the etching and it wasn't there. So it would have been simple for your Sales Manager to negotiate that out of the deal. Instead it was mandatory. If I wanted these items on a vehicle that I was ordering, I would have asked for them. Instead, by Special Ordering the vehicle, I ordered it the way I wanted it, not the way you wanted it. Let's be clear, we all know these are low cost/high profit items added to increase your bottom line. You website indicates that these items "may" be purchased. From my experience and looking at the other reviews, it is far from "may" and more like "must" be purchased. Shall I also go into the fraud on your advertised vehicles on your website. Every Rebel you have listed shows a Dealer Rebate of $5000....these are vehicles that haven't even been built, yes I have checked the VIN on all of them. Yet, when I asked about it yesterday, "we don't do that". When I ordered my truck, my salesman showed me a stack of other Special Orders/Factory Orders that were pending....I wonder how many of those buyers were told about the Markups and Add Ons. If you don't know what/how your salespeople are operating, then you are blind. If you know what/how they are operating, then you are as guilty as they are. I got a fair and honest deal at another dealer without having to negotiate or haggle.
