If you are looking for a new Honda we had a great experience at Hugh White Honda. The maintenance light came on our vehicle, and we immediately headed over to Hugh White. Aaron Hodge met us at the door and worked us into the schedule. Negligence....We dropped our 2015 CRV at Hugh White Honda on Sunday evening,11/29/2020 to have the battery and charging system analyzed.We got a call Monday morning from the service writer,Steve.He informed on Sunday evening,11/29/2020 to have the battery and charging system analyzed.We got a call Monday morning from the service writer,Steve.He informed us the driver's door lock(the only exterior lock on this vehicle)had been jimmied and we needed a locksmith because the battery was dead and there was no way to enter the car.This was done and the battery and the electrical system were checked and a new battery installed.Steve informed us everything looked good.We picked the car up the next day and spoke with Steve briefly about the problem. The new battery died the following Sunday in our garage .We jumped it and took the car to another Honda dealer .They determined that the jimmied door lock had shorted and drained the battery.It turns out that this is not a common problem but not rare.It certainly is something that a Honda service advisor and Honda mechanic should know about.Our service advisor at no time mentioned fixing or replacing the door lock.What turned out to be a minor inconvenience could have been much worse in the Ohio Winter.It should have been prevented in the first place.Not good.....
