Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are dissatisfied that you did not have the same 5 Star experience that so many of our customers have enjoyed. Each vehicle on our lot is put through a vigorous multi-point safety inspection before they are sold, but unfortunately since these are used cars that we’re handling, they may experience complications after they have left the lot. For this reason we encourage customers to purchase our extended warranty. Considering your situation, we realize that it may be an inconvenience for you to drive back to our dealership, however, it is extremely difficult for us to resolve any issues when the vehicle is not physically in our shop. BECAUSE THE GAS GAUGE DID NOT WORK ,THE NEXT DAY WE BROUGHT IT TO A VERY REPUTABLE CERTIFIED DODGE DEALERSHIP WHO FOUND ALL OF THESE SAFETY ISSUES!! YOUR SERVICE ASKED ME TO GET A SECOND OPINION,WHICH I DID! SAME RESULTS WITH A LOWER PRICE. THE TRUE STORY HERE IS THAT THIS VEHICLE GOT A STICKER SLAPPED ON IT WITHOUT REGARD FOR SAFETY! We would not consider this a "canned response" since we have been communicating with you through multiple channels. When you made the choice to purchase a vehicle from over 300 miles away, you understood when signing the Massachusetts Limited Used Vehicle Warranty that you are required to bring the vehicle back to us for any repairs within the warranty period. We always offer extended service agreements that can be used anywhere in the US, but unfortunately you refused that offer. Huggard & Ewing has been in business since 1951 and will always stand behind what we sell. We are disappointed that you have mistaken our intentions for being malicious but we would never allow a customer to leave our lot in a vehicle that we know is not safe.

You executed all of the requisite documentation to purchase a quality vehicle. A controversy arose when you alleged that a sales agent had included coverage that you were unaware of. We disputed same and cancelled the coverage immediately. Thereafter, you made unfair postings which we felt were slanderous and we requested that you remove them, but you refused. The staff of Huggard & Ewing has built it’s fine reputation in the industry and community through many years of business and both hard work and fair dealings with its customers. Huggard & Ewing has always taken whatever steps that are reasonably necessary in order to resolve a particular dispute or problem that may arise, even though it is through no fault of the dealership.
