I am very disappointed and I cannot imagine the countless times I have taken my car to this dealership and gotten it serviced. To imagine all the other customers that have paid for a service solely trustin times I have taken my car to this dealership and gotten it serviced. To imagine all the other customers that have paid for a service solely trusting them is unimaginable. My motor seized in my Kia and needed to be replaced. Thank God it was covered under warranty. I received the service sheet via email first asking me to approve the extra services that upon inspection they found needed my immediate attention. I was told that after diagnostic was done on my vehicle, it was found that I needed a catalytic converter. The technician also told my husband and I a code. The total would be $3,777.99 that I declined. I went to pick my car up, and I was told I really needed the catalytic converter and she would hate for me to damage the new motor, so please try not to drive it as much for this reason. To make a long story short, I took my car to another Kia dealership to have them to take a look at it, 2 others to be exact and they both told me I did not need a Catalytic Converter. They are not sure why I was told that, mine is fine, its not clogged up. I took it to a different mechanic shop to check it out also thinking okay third time is the charm! This shop kept my car for 4 hours, inspecting and driving to also come up with the same conclusion- I do not need a catalytic converter! I called Huffines Kia Mckinney back and I spoke with a manager to inform him of my disbelief and disappointment with the thoughts of What If I had not followed my gut and just told them to go ahead and do the repair for something I totally did not need. I think it is dishonest and attempted robbery. Also, let me add the fact that I was getting my motor replaced, and they were asking me to approve charges for specific services that were going to be included with the new motor. For example a new idler pulley- the wanted to charge $534.95 for a pulley that cost less than $20.00 at autozone. But my point is it was replaced with the new motor! My heart is broken especially for all the elderly and women who have in the past paid for things that we absolutely DID NOT NEED! I told the manager, that I was reporting this to the Better Business Bureau! More
When I went in and left I felt the service was good. However, they recommended a couple of things specifically 2 new tires, and stated they could not rotate them because two tires were too bald. I checked them and they were not but it wasn't worth the argument. The bigger issue was they said I needed new brake pads and rotors turned. Specifically, they said the pads were down to 2 Millimeters in the back and down to 5 in the front. I found this odd for the low mileage on the car so I took it to two different places (firestone and Breaks Plus) both of them came back and said the brakes were fine and they are at 6 mil in the front and 5 in the rear. I find this practice of lying to get more money dishonest. I would always recommend getting another opinion if they suggest work needs to be done. Update- 2/14/2024 The GM Frank White Reached out to me and we agreed that a mistake was made and Frank made the situation right. The actions they took to resolve the issue have restored my trust in them and I am updating this review from 1 star to 5 stars. More

They also used bullying tactics to seek payment for a goodwill part Kia USA was willing to pay for on our behalf, such as threatening to report the loaner car we were given as stolen, and to tow our car off their lot before their repairs/replacement was complete. The right thing to do would be for Huffines to repair what they accidentally damaged without seeking unfounded compensation or hardship. Additionally 2 other independent shops have confirmed the electrical issues were indeed caused by their negligence. Definitely do more than average research before buying a Kia, especially from Huffines. ***I WOULD BE HAPPY TO UPDATE MY REVIEW AND FURTHER ACTION IF HUFFINES TAKES ACCOUNTABILITY & TAKES CARE OF ISSUES THEY CAUSED *** More
Sent multiple requests to inquire about a 25k vehicle and they never responded. Took my money elsewhere and ended up with a great new car, thanks for making it easy who to not go to. they never responded. I will be honest and say that my experience with the dealership did not start off well. However, they were very quick to right the wrong and went above and beyond to show that they value their customers dealership did not start off well. They could have just let me remain upset about the circumstances and moved on, but instead, they reached out to apologize and were professional and courteous. I don’t know of many, if any, dealerships that would own up to a mistake and go above and beyond to make it right like they did. They could have easily sold the car to another buyer and not given me a second thought, but they wanted to ensure that I knew they value their customers. I ended up purchasing the car from them, and I would buy from them again in the future. I definitely appreciate the humanity behind this dealership, and I would recommend it to friends and family. More
