I have owned various Hyundai models for the past twenty years. During that time I’ve lived in two different states and have taken my vehicles to many different dealerships for service. Huffines Hyundai McKinney is currently the nearest Hyundai dealership to my home and I have taken my cars there for the past 8 years. I can honestly say they offer a very consistent level of service at the service desk. Unfortunately the level of service is somewhere between poor and terrible. They overpromise and underdeliver, there is little to no communication, the communication you do get is rarely accurate. Back in 2019 my Genesis needed the transmission replaced. A transmission was sourced from a warehouse in Dallas quickly, it then took a month to complete the job. In 2022 my Veracruz needed a recall done. The job took over a week with multiple service advisors giving conflicting stories as to what was the status of the vehicle. The dealer says they offer loaner cars, but despite being promised one more than once I’ve never actually seen one. We are currently in the market to purchase a new Palisade, however the dealership is marking up these vehicles by thousands of dollars. Ultimately I recommend looking elsewhere for your Hyundai needs if you can. More
