My Absolute Best Dealer Experience 45 Years of Buying Honestly I had not heard of Huebner Chevrolet Subaru before I ran across their listing on-line for late-model used pickup that met my search criteria. Honestly I had not heard of Huebner Chevrolet Subaru before I ran across their listing on-line for late-model used pickup that met my search criteria. I had been shopping for a couple of weeks at that point and although the truck looked pretty sharp in the posted photos, I was not too optimistic that they were accurate portrayals -- being disappointed had been my experience so far to that date. Not only had I been disappointed in the quality, I had also been subjected to the typical "used-car salesman" pressure tactics in various shapes and forms. I was so disgusted with the process that I called in advance and stated to the salesperson handling that vehicle that if the truck was not as represented I would turn around and walk away. He assured me that the truck was every bit as impressive in person as online. He said it is one of the cleanest vehicle they had ever seen for its age. "No bull?" I asked. "No, sir" he replied. "We will see," I replied. And see I did. We arrived and Nick Roudebush was waiting for my wife and I, the truck out front ready for our inspection. What a beauty it was. I know you are not supposed to gush accolades about something when you are going to try to strike a deal, but honestly, I was trying to find something wrong to justify the price being as low as it was. We took it for a ride and when we got back Nick suggested that I pull it in the detailing bay and inspect it under the bright lights. He patiently waited while we check out all the nooks and crannies. There was no "sales-speak," no pressure, only assistance on Nick's part. The truck was just as advertised and we purchased it right then and there. The loan process was conducted fairly and expediently. We were out of there in less than two hours, a very happy customer. A great car buying experience. Looking forward to making the trip to Carrollton to lease a Subaru next year and Nick will be our guy. More
