Whe chose to go to Hudson Nissan because we found the car we were looking for at the price on USAA.com. We drove over 2 hours to make the deal. It worked out great for us, our salesman Jonathan was very courteous and professional. I would say he wasn't up to speed on his knowledge of the BMW, but he did the best he could explaining the car to us. After the 1st week we purchased the vehicle we had a problem with the battery that was going to cost us around $1000. I called Jonathan and he went to his supervisor to see what they could do and they split the cost with us. I would recommend Jonathan and Hudson Nissan to anyone looking for a new or used car. More
Website led me to the car I wanted. Salemans was very patient as I test drove two models. Made a quick, fair deal. Vehicle was priced low and discounts made the price even better. My name is Timothy Mims and I would highly recommend to buy from Hudson Nissan on rivers ave. We have been searching for a car at several dealership and tired to buy fron a "hometown dealer", until they wo buy from Hudson Nissan on rivers ave. We have been searching for a car at several dealership and tired to buy fron a "hometown dealer", until they would not put all info on invoice. So we have been dealing with Ron also trying to get better price, so we went back to him. I did not get a better price, I even paid $300 more than other dealer, but we got satifaction from Ron, in black and white, not "just trust me". Pleae contact Ron and have him call me And i ill tell you how we are satified with our car and will tell you our story with the "other Nissan dealership" across the bridge. Tim Mims More

I will not EVER buy a car from this dealership. Deceptive practices and cocky salesmanship. First of all, when we got there the price of the car was $500.00 higher than advertised on the internet . We test d practices and cocky salesmanship. First of all, when we got there the price of the car was $500.00 higher than advertised on the internet . We test drove the car and noticed noise coming from the rear of the car and practically all of the rubber around all of the windows was deteriorated. They were asking clean retail price for the car with these deficiencies. The salesman says "Don't worry about that, this car as well as all of our vehicles have a 30 day bumper to bumper warranty." Hmmm But when I looked at the warranty on the windshield of the vehicle it said LIMITED WARRANTY! I offered a price to them about $1000.00 below retail out the door and asked them to correct the problems. The sales manager came out with a counter offer price out the door at retail(plus tax and tags) and said as is. I couldn't believe it. If you buy anything other than new from here you should be careful. I went right over to Summerville Ford the following day and spent $10,900. They are the best and I have bought 2 vehicles from them.with no problems. I am seeing wild fluctuations on this dealerships ratings from a 1 to a 5 and wonder if the 5 ratings are legit. I mentioned our experience to a friend of mine and he said the exact same thing... that they were cocky and overbearing attitudes and felt as they were dishonest. STAY FAAARRR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. NISSAN IS MAKING A MISTAKE BY HAVING THEIR NAME ASSOCIATED WITH THIS DEALERSHIP! More
my husband and I had the most pleasant car buying experience at Hudson Nissan that we've ever had. Jonathan the salesman was super friendly and very knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure experience at Hudson Nissan that we've ever had. Jonathan the salesman was super friendly and very knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure we understood everything about the new 2013 Nissan Altima we were buying for our daughter. This is the first time ever buying a car that there was no back and forth with pricing or any of the usual sales tricks. I made contact by phone late one evening and made an apt. The next day I was browsing the site and noticed the incentives on the car I wanted ended that day and I could not get to the dealership until the next. So I saw my salesman online we discussed what I was looking for and he literally ran around the lot looking for the exact car I wanted, which had not arrived on the lot yet. But he found me one I was just as happy with. I filled out some forms online, told him the info on my trade and what my max payment could be. Within 20 min he called me back with what seemed to be took good terms. But he promised the numbers wouldn't change, so I put down a refundable 500 deposit to hold my car and rebate until the next day. We arrived to find the car outdid the show room doorall polished up and full of gas with our name on the dash. Johnathan spent the next thirty min going over every detail of the car and then we all went fire a test drive. By then we were are in love with the new 2013 Nissan altima. So then we go inside and go over the app everything is in order and once again he shows us what the payment will be. Still not believing that number was possible we waited a while for the finance manager who had another customer.. During this time Johnathan still hung out with us, showed my daughter around the dealership and where the service department was. Then came our time with Eric in the finance dept... Hubby and I looked at each other and said.. Here's where the price goes up... NOT... Eric was very pleasant and informative, he went over everything and guess what., signed the papers for exactly what Johnathan told me in the beginning! It was truly the best car buying experience I've ever had... And this coming from someone who trades vehicles every two years.. :-) I just want to say thank u again to Johnathan and Eric, you were both great and Megan is in Love with her Altima !! More
I bought a preowned car from Hudson Nissan back at the first of October 2012. A week after I bought the car, it had to be put in the shop (It is a 2011). Not to mention I had tried calling because the sal first of October 2012. A week after I bought the car, it had to be put in the shop (It is a 2011). Not to mention I had tried calling because the sales person who I dealt with send me the title in the mail even though I had financed the car, but no one ever called me back. I have had more than problem with this car, mostly because the dealership (and the salesperson Bill) didn't do their part on the paperwork. I have had to make a extra trip to the DMV and two extra trips to my credit union all to fix the problems that Hudson Nissan made. I have called the sales manager (Jason?) and left him two or three voicemails over the past couple of months, but I have NEVER received a call back. It should not be this hard to buy a car and I hope nobody else has to go through what I have been though. More
I have taken my Nissan Quest to the service department for the last 15 months and will never go back. The customer service representatives are rude and very unwilling to wait on me when I brought my car for the last 15 months and will never go back. The customer service representatives are rude and very unwilling to wait on me when I brought my car in for scheduled appointments. The most recent appointment was the aboslute worst experience i have ever had at a Nissan dealership! I had pre-ordered a part for the service appointment after they had a run a diagnostic on my car and given me a quote. After my car had been in the shop for an hour, I was called by the customer service rep, "Lauren" who said I had ordered the wrong part nd my car would need an additional part and labor to fix my problem. I asked to speak with the service manager, he checked into the situation and found the correct part was already in the car from what I had ordered.. But, even though the original problem was fixed, he continued to try to find "other problems" to run up the bill. Very dissatisfied and do not recommend their service department. More
The worst experience I have ever had buying a vehicle. The truck I bought had to have some work done I signed papers on a Thursday and it was a week before the truck was ready and 4 days later it was back The truck I bought had to have some work done I signed papers on a Thursday and it was a week before the truck was ready and 4 days later it was back at the dealership because the work was never finished and as I write this it is going on a second day at the shop. I was really pushed to sign papers but I never should have until the work was completed . I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. More
This is long, but I believe very important to read. This is long, but I believe very important to read. This review is for my overall experience dealing with Hudson Nissan in North Charleston. I bough This is long, but I believe very important to read. This review is for my overall experience dealing with Hudson Nissan in North Charleston. I bought a brand new versa about two years ago. I felt my entire experience was "OK" when I was going through actually purchasing the vehicle. I did at some parts feel as if I was getting taken advantage of because I was not familiar with vehicles at the time. (Through the way I was spoken to, more or less like I was "dumb") This was my very first new car. The staff working was friendly, yet seemed to be a lot of confusion. However, That is not what this review is really for. I have recently had my car serviced at Hudson Nissan. While trying to make an appointment, I left about 3 voicemails which did not get returned. I had also called about 2 or 3 times a day for about 4 days until I could speak with someone and to make the appointment. Once I had arrived to my appointment, my service advisor did not introduce themself and asked for my name. After giving my name, they asked to bring my car into the garage. After driving my car in they asked for my keys. That was it. That was my interaction with my advisor. No estimated time, no suggestion on where I can wait, no introduction. I found the waiting room, and continued to wait for 1 1/2 hours , for an oil change. After no one came to get me and let me know my car had been serviced, I asked a very kind lady at the counter where I would pay for my service if my service had been complete. They asked who my advisor was.(No idea who my adivsor was) My car had been ready. I paid and asked if everything was alright with my car and looked good and was told it looked good and everything was in the "green". When I got home that night, looking at my receipt I realized there were two check marks in the "red" for my tires. I wasn't told anything about my tires. This was the second time I got my car serviced at Nissan in two years beacause I have had experiences like this. I know the employees work very hard at Nissan; however, I think that customer service skills could be improved. Not only in person customer service skills, but over the phone as well. More
