After the test drive and discussion (no negotiation or haggling - just an agreement to buy at that price), I signed a contract and left a deposit. Because of COVID, the sales rep would not be there the next day and we agreed to take delivery on Thursday. Well, on Thursday morning we received a call from the sales manager that the car was underpriced and should have been 11,999, and thus they could not sell us the car. I have screenshots of the Carfax price history, and the car had been listed at 10,999 since February 26! There was also a price change of +1,000 on June 24 - the day AFTER our contract was signed. When I offered to split the difference of THEIR MISTAKE, they held firm to the 11,999. Needless to say, I did not buy the car nor will I ever step foot in that building again. More
