I came into the Hyundai d In response to your inquiry about my recent purchase with the Hudson Auto Group, my overall feeling was less than desired. I came into the Hyundai dealership on Saturday, April 23rd and was immediately approached by a salesman name Jack. While he seemed eager to help, he quickly became a bit annoyed with me and my friend who came along with me that day. I told him what I was looking for and at he was not really eager to try and get me into a car that I was desiring. His customer service skills need some work in my opinion. He then called over which I believe would be his manager, Joe. Joe was more concerned with me as a customer, however long story short they sold me a car that was NOT new and had several things wrong including the following: dents in driver door, rear bumper, and a huge rusting dent on the undercarriage of the passenger side front wheel well. The interior was scraped and smelled of cigarette smoke. I later found a burn on the floor of the interior. It also have over 2,500 miles. I promptly returned the car on Monday morning horrified that I was sold this junk of a car and also quite aggravated that I appeared to be taken for a ride and advantage of as being a 1st time car buyer. I also had to take a personal day off of work in order to work this mess out. All of the salesmen were in a Monday morning meeting so I waited just over an hour for Jack and Joe to get out of this meeting. I was quickly approached and ask, "what's wrong" as if they didn't have any clue the sold me a car, that was not NEW!. Jack went and got Joe, who immediately apologized and ask "what can I do" I responded with " I want a new car" which he quickly replied and said "absolutely" and another 2 hours later, I was finally in a NEW car and driving it off the lot. Jack should have known better than to try and sell a car that was not new as new, he didn't even take the time to really walk through the car with me. I pointed out the scratches on the original car and he was like "I will tell Joe and you can bring it back". Really? In the end I am happy with my purchase and the car has been a gem to drive. I just wish I received an better experience overall from this dealership. I would recommenced sales 101 for Jack, am less than pleased he received commission on the sale. Joe overall was much better to work with. I appreciate the request for feedback and I hope I have provided some insight to better train your staff on customer service and satisfaction. More
