I purchased a Honda Pilot from Hudson Honda and was more pleased with the service I received. Aron Varela was my sales person and he was more than knowledgable. He was friendly and down to earth. He didn't make me feel like I was being screwed into a sale and worked very well to meet my pricing needs. The manager Johnny Rivas was helpful and answered any questions that I had. Whenever I call there with a question he always takes my calls and seems happy to help. I bring the Pilot in for servicing (i.e. oil change) and Arturo Rivas is extremely helpful and makes sure that the service is done correctly and quickly. I have referred a few friends to Hudson Honda and none have been disappointed. When you go their they treat you like family! More
I just want to say that FINALLY there is an honest car dealership around that there sole intent IS NOT to screw the consumer. At Hudson County Honda in West New York New Jersey, I was very fortunate to m dealership around that there sole intent IS NOT to screw the consumer. At Hudson County Honda in West New York New Jersey, I was very fortunate to meet the GM Johhny Rivas. Johnny was right away an extremely friendly, helpful, and easy to talk manager. There was no rush to get a deal done, no throwing a million numbers out there to try and confuse you, no smoke screens. Just honesty and genuine concern. When I told Johhny of my budget he said no problem and he put me right away with his sales associate Yirko. Yirko was just as helpful, NEVER pushing for a higher model, a bigger sale, just trying to help me get the most for my money and within my means. He was not intimidating as some car salesmen could be, he was very patient, and he worked out a great deal for me and even got me a higher model Honda Accord that was still somehow in my price range. I now drive around in a brand new Honda Accord EX-L coupe and I LOVE IT. The car is sporty, safe, and must of all affordable! I could not be happier with Mr. Rivas and his team, if anybody is in the market to buy/lease a new or pre-owned vehicle Hudson County Honda is the place to go, you will be treated with respect and honesty. Not too many dealerships can make that claim. From the moment you walk in the door, to the test drives, your questions, to the paper work, it is a pleasant experience and I would recommend Hudson County Honda to all of my family and friends. Tonight I went to Hudson Honda looking for a V6 Accord EX-L. I said right off the bat that I was already approved through my credit union. The sales guy was pushing for my husband to try to apply...Anyw EX-L. I said right off the bat that I was already approved through my credit union. The sales guy was pushing for my husband to try to apply...Anyway long story short I was trying to negotiate the price with the Sales Person, and he came back with a higher price than I wanted (obviously the operative word here is NEGOTIATION)...anyway when I threw out a price that I believed to be fair to begin with Dan said that V6 Accord EX-L was "TOO MUCH CAR FOR ME"!!!!!!....Mind you I pulled up to the dealership in a 2009 BMW X5!!!!!!! Are they serious?! What kind of circus are they running there? This would have been my 4th car purchased at this dealership but I have to say that the service has been getting worse and worse every time i go there. I guess the only real reason I have gone there was because it's 5 blocks away from where I live. This dealership is completely mismanaged and is in desperate need of serious sales people. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Update: I went to ParkAve Acura, and I got a GREAT deal with a new car from Troy Dawson. He's is extremely professional and honest. ParkAve Acura does not play with your pricing. They do not go back and forth with their managers that hide behind the desk. The sales guys work out the deals. No hassel! ParkAve Acura are true Sales Professionals!!! More

Jose Gonell (manager) was a real jerk.He thought that we didn't speak English and when he was asked if he was helping us, he said that he wasn't going to waste his time. Not only did he say that, but at the time of picking up the car, Jose told my brother that he had lost too much money on the deal and that he wasn't going to fix the bumper.(The bumper was to be fixed as part of the deal.) If you want to have a good experience when buying or leasing a vehicle, please do not go to Hudson Honda. They are liars and not professional at all. There are many Honda Dealers in NJ so think about it twice before visiting Hudson Honda. More
We were in to buy a new Honda Civic and dealt with Henry. We were apprehensive as we had bad experiences with salesman at other dealerships. But, Henry was very friendly and not at all pushy. He did not haggle over the price as Hudson was charging me what they quoted over the phone. The process was very fluid with no interruptions. The finance guy (Eric) was great as he did not try and add additonal fees or push us into buying extended warranty. In all, our experience was amazing and kind of hard to beleieve. We have been looking for past three weeks and had met with a couple of dealers before, who promised a certain price over the phone and let us down later. I strongly reccomend working with Henry, because he made our buying experience so stress-free, with his good sense of humor. Also, reccomend the dealership, because they were the only one (in about 5 we visited) that kept to their word, in terms of price. More

We had no followup after the quote and when they FINALLY responded, Hudson Honda said that they had the car we were looking for in stock. It was a lie. They did not return any calls promptly after trying to contact them NUMEROUS times and by the time we finally got in touch with them, they didn't even have the model we were looking for! Not only that, but the sales person then yelled at my wife over the phone in frustration! If you are reading this, please reconsider purchasing a vehicle from this dealer. I will gladly pay extra and give another dealership business. More
Good afternoon Mr. Tropiano, I am writing to let you Good afternoon Mr. Tropiano, I am writing to let you know that I have been a customer of Hudson Honda for many years and always receive great cust Good afternoon Mr. Tropiano, I am writing to let you know that I have been a customer of Hudson Honda for many years and always receive great customer service when I go to your dealership for regular maintenance or any other vehicle related needs but the level of service that was displayed by Oscar Morejon about 1 month ago, totally exceeded my expectations. I recently decided to finance my 2006 leased Honda Pilot and subsequently was told that I needed to come in to pick up my new license plates in approximately 1 week. Due to my own oversight, I neglected to apply the temporary plate to my back window. I was on my way to work and was pulled over by a police officer because the plates on my vehicle did not match the records on file. I immediately called Hudson Honda hoping that my new plates had arrived otherwise my vehicle was going to be towed. The receptionist transferred me to Oscar and I explained the urgency of my situation and asked him if he could possibly deliver my new plates since I could not leave the scene. Oscar understood and reacted immediately. He arrived within about 10 minutes and came prepared with tools to remove my old plates and install the new ones! I was let off with a warning from the officer and more importantly I did not get towed! Oscar was a true life saver for me that day and I can't express the level of gratitude that I have for his actions. In this day and age (not to mention Market conditions) good customer is difficult to find and plays a critical part for any business. I have managed Call Centers for many years and understand the importance of employees that go above and beyond the call of duty and Oscar most definitely did that! Employees like Oscar really make a lasting impression on customers like me and I have shared this story with all my family and friends. Please thank Oscar again for helping me in a desperate situation that was caused by my own negligence. He is an asset to your organization and should be commended for his diligence and dedication. I was at your store on Monday and i must say I was disgusted in the customer service or better yet the lack of customer that was provided at your dealership. I was walking around outside for about 15 min. looking at the used cars and not once was I acknowledged by anyone there. I did see two Honda employees but they pretended they didn't see me and walked back inside the building. I guess they only work indoors. I entered the building and i wasn't sure if I was in a restaurant or a club. It smelled like food in the show room and I heard music playing loudly. Wasn't sure if it was over the intercom or they had a radio behind the desk. I did see two guys sitting at the big desk by the window. Both of them looked up at me but both put there heads back down further making my experience horrible. I began to walk around the showroom looking at the cars there. A sales rep walked in my direction but not once did he ask if I needed any help or anything. In reality even if he were to have asked me i would have been scared to get any help from him because he looked like a slob with his shirt hanging out and his whole demeanor. I also noticed that the cars in the showroom were all dirty. If i wanted to see dirty cars i would have gone to a junk yard. I attempted to look for a receptionist but once again i had no luck in finding any receptionist. Im not even sure if your store has one. I asked one of the sales reps that were sitting at a desk by himself if i could be helped and he responded with "give me one minute" and went to the other side by the exit doors and I saw him joking with other employees there. I must say im really disgusted with the lack of customer service that is provided in Hudson Honda and I will surely tell my friends and family to never buy a car from here. I have received more attention walking into the projects in Jersey City then i did in Hudson Honda. As the Manager of Honda I suggest you get new employees to work in the show room that have some sense of customer service. Im really surprised that anyone would want to buy a car from here. It feels more like a hang out for the sales reps than a workplace from what I saw in my 40 minutes wandering around. Now I know why i've heard in the past to stay away from Hudson Honda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
