John Colarte was an excellent dealership. He was friendly and professional at all times. I highly recommend John Colarte to anyone as a dealer as well as for any upcoming opportunities that may arise at Honda Pilot. However, Jason DeJEsus the financial advisor was quick at convincing me at obtaining a vehicle. But I find the price I am paying for my vehicle is high, not to mention, it took almost three weeks to obtain my license plate. Additionally, Jason DeJesus insisted on me driving with an expired temporary license plate and when I addressed the issue, his exact words was, "You are going to have to tough it up." REally? Was I suppose to tell this to a police office if I was pulled over for driving with expired license plates. So my question becomes, what is Honda or Jason DeJesus willing to do to accomodate me and make me a happy and satisfied customer? Can the cost of my lease be reduced? Five Stars all the way around in terms of customer service and all around dealership experience. Even at their busiest times and peak hours, there are people constantly walking the premises to ask if service and all around dealership experience. I went there withon Monday and cut a deal by mid week -- drove off in my brand new car today! I especially appreciate the effort Luis Santos and his supervisors made in accommodating my lack of credit. They REALLY worked on a deal with me and gave me every option there was during the entire process. This location in West New York closes at 8 PM -- and on multiple occasions Luis stayed late even after closing to get everything together for us since I got out of work late. Seriously, I've been to other dealerships in the area and if you have bad credit or no credit, sales reps would just get turned off and tell you a bunch of bull to get you to leave and work with someone else. GO HERE if you are from the area and or surrounding towns. I know a lot of people to trek all the way to Jersey City 440 for all those dealerships and honestly I've had such terrible experiences in other places there it wasn't worth the commute money and mental exhaustion. The service is speedy and competent. Excellent and comfortable lounge area as you wait for services, and a consistently updated inventory. Thanks Hudson Honda!!! - Frenzel More
We just purchased a new Honda Pilot (so not an inexpensive car, of course) from this dealership. Although our initial experience with the sales process wasn't amazing, David Constant has been work inexpensive car, of course) from this dealership. Although our initial experience with the sales process wasn't amazing, David Constant has been working with us to resolve a number of issues we had. David has been very hands-on and attentive at fixing a number of issues that occurred with our sale, including plates arriving late, after the temporary plates expired (probably had something to do with DMV as well). He also apologized for no one at the dealership calling us back re. custom installation of a sun roof and DVD player. All in all, it is apparent that they are working hard to make the sales process a better experience for future customers. We can't say whether that will happen, but if David is any indication, and if his promise to make the buying experience is true, then we can definitely recommend purchasing a car from this dealer. Hello, I just want let people know about my recent experience at Hudson Honda. I went there because I saw a very nice car on the web page. The car was used. I test drove the car. It had the check engine light on and sales rep told me it was going to be a minor fix. I gave a deposit of the car on jan 31 2013. One week and a half went by and I did not hear from the dealer. I had to call constantly and I was told it was almost ready and this and that, next to be serviced etc.. Later I found out what happened: A customer had brought the car for a trade in, and was given a new car. then I gave the deposit for that used car . Then no loan was approved to the customer who took the new car, NOW, WHY WOULD YOU SELL THE CAR WHEN A LOAN HAS NOT BEEN APPROVED TO THE CUSTOMER WHO TRADED IN THE CAR? I asked for my deposit back and they said it was going to be 5 to 7 business days. More than 20 days went by for me to get my money refunded finally on March 5 2013. Not professional, not a call from them , and they would not answer my calls. Definitively would not recommend this dealer. More

I bought a brand new honda crv-ex from this dealership in january. Part of the reason I wanted to buy this was the $300 gift card they were offering. I negotiated a very good price and the overall experience was good. The only -ve I have is that I was not given the $300 gift card as I got a good deal on the price as per the sales person. It was not in the fine print that getting a good price would negate this deal but I was too tired and didnt want to make a big fuss over it. It would have been a 5 instead of a 4 except for that one detail. I would recommend this dealership but be sure to go in fresh and not tired :) More
We drove all the way from NYC to Hudson Honda to purchase two (2) 2013 Honda CRV EX AWD. They were able to match the lowest price offered to us by other Honda dealers plus they have $300 gift card for every two (2) 2013 Honda CRV EX AWD. They were able to match the lowest price offered to us by other Honda dealers plus they have $300 gift card for every new car purchased/leased (We're still waiting for our gift cards through mail though) Mr. Erik Castro was our salesman. He's very approachable, friendly and accomodating. Jason De Jesus was very pleasant as well. Overall, we had a great buying experience and will recommend Hudson Honda to friends and family. More
