Leased CRV at Hudson Honda so I thought I was very happy to have left the dealership after leasing a brand new CRV. 6 weeks later they tell me the financing did not go through. I am a recent college grad, and my family decided to get me a car as a graduation gift. As a car virgin, BRING EXPERIENCE car users with you! Dealerships will always try to take as much as they can from you. Luckily my big brother and my uncle are both car fanatics and came with me. As for my experience, we found the car that i really like although it was kind of pricey. My uncle was able to negotiate a price that met on both terms. Always try to negotiate with them. The car window had a crack on the bottom left side, but it was "sealed" so we could not ask for new window. That was one flaw i did not like. However Cesar did all he could to figure out and try to help us out on getting a new window. Once i approved and confirmed everything was my liking, it was time to do paper work. Before doing paperwork, we asked to make sure there was a spare key. Cesar said there was a spare but the manager has it and the manager was at meeting. So we decided to fill out the forms first. BE PREPARED for some reason in Hudson Honda, paperwork takes a long time... We stayed in the lobby for about 2 hours before waiting to get financed by Remila, our sales consulate whos always a sweetheart. BEFORE signing all the papers we asked again for spare, but now the manager was at lunch... So we decided to head upstairs for save time and sign all the finance papers. MAKE SURE TO GET A COPY OF EACH SHEET. Remila informed us on whatever form we were signing and did provide us copies. Now after all the paperwork was done, my family and i were ready to leave. Its been almost 4 hours in Hudson Honda. We asked for the spare key, and David the manger told us there wasn't a spare key because the previous owner never handed in a spare key. My uncle and brother started getting very agitated because we waited for HOURS and now they tell us? We spoke to Cesar about it and he was more than willing to understand and wanted us to leave with a spare key. Then we spoke to David and he agreed it was fair to make us a spare key. That was another hour of waiting.. While we were waiting Cesar did everything else to make sure we were comfortable, had our papers, understood the process of leaving Hudson Honda, the process of registration and inspection. After 5 hours of being in Hudson Honda, everything will finished. We had our forms, the spare key, and ready to go and leave my new car!! Overall Hudson Honda was a good experience, kind of pricey but negotiate and call them ahead of time and make sure they have all the paperwork done so it'll be a much shorter process. I HIGHLY recommend Cesar as a sales specialist, he knows his information about cars and is willing to do whatever he can for his customers to have a good experience in Honda Hudson. Also thanks David for helping out with the spare key! another observation i noticed, it seems as if workers work as their own not as a team. while Cesar was running around helping my car and his other sales customer's car, the other sale workers were just hanging out.. Im sure they could have helped other customers even if they are not theyre sales customers More

I received a call from Flora Admani about 4 months (approximately November, 2013) prior to my lease end (February, 2014) to see if I could get out of my and lease a 2014 Honda CR-V AWD EX-L or 2013 CR (approximately November, 2013) prior to my lease end (February, 2014) to see if I could get out of my and lease a 2014 Honda CR-V AWD EX-L or 2013 CR-V EX-L AWD. We could not reach a deal at this time after a few hours of aggravation with the sales managers. Flora called again about two weeks prior to my lease end so returned but with the same results (no deal). We did finally reached a deal 2 days prior to my lease end date with no remote starter or floor mats in the vehicle, as I requested to be thrown in because of my aggravation. That is when Flora stated that she would check Rafael a sales manager. She called me back saying it they could not throw in a remote starter. Flor went on to say "that if she threw in the remote starter, she would get fired." We finally reached a deal with no remote starter. I was suppose to come in the next night to receive the car but ended up in Garden State Honda instead. Garden State Honda gave me the deal that Hudson Honda offered with the remote starter and no hassles. More
My dad took me to get a used car from Hudson Honda of West New York. The price was fair. While inquiring about the vehicle, I kept insisting that an inspection would be made on the car. My salesperson assured us the car would be inspected, and nothing would be wrong with it mechanically. My mistake for not getting everything in paper, as I will never trust a car dealership again. While we were purchasing the car, I noticed an open recall for an ignition switch and pointed it out - he assured us everything was fine once again, and swept it under the rug... About a month later I went to get an oil change and of course, you already know what happens next. This Honda dealership (Open Road of Edison) offers us to fix the recall for FREE! Like every Honda dealership should. In addition, the following problems were found with the car. - Burnt out brake light bulb - Transmission oil leak (still pending further investigation - might require a transmission rebuild or repair $$$) - Faulty starter motor - Undiagnosed squeaking noises And that's where you think it ends... Nope. The car was purchased mid-January. Temporary plates expired on February 6th, 2014. Called Hudson Honda 3 times prior to expiration, forwarding me to the "Plate People". Left 2 voicemails, never received a response. Seems like they were never working (big surprise). Finally contacted my salesperson, and told me I need to get another temporary plate. I explained that I go away to school, and asked if he could FedEx the plates to me. NOPE, told me I had to come in because they couldn't be mailed (Knew this is a lie, because when I bought an Acura they FedEx'ed plates right to my doorstep in less than 10 days after purchase). Spent a Saturday in traffic with tolls to come into the dealership to pick the 2nd temporary plates up. It is now February 23rd, and the second set of plates are due to expire on March 6th... This business is unethical and unprofessional. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I wouldn't recommend Hudson Honda to anybody. More

I've been a Honda owner for many years, and John answered all my questions about the different models in which I was interested. I'm very pleased with my experience, and I shall recommend Hudson Honda without reservation. The financing process was efficient and professional, as were all my interactions with other Hudson Honda staff. This is a very busy dealership, yet whenever I needed something and was under a time constraint everyone was always helpful and made great efforts to expedite my requests.
