Not Flexible From the moment I walked in here, I guess I was bad luck. Not this dealer's fault. The car I came in searching for was already sold earlier that day, From the moment I walked in here, I guess I was bad luck. Not this dealer's fault. The car I came in searching for was already sold earlier that day, but I decided to stay since they seemed to have a bunch of nice Hondas on the lot, and my heart was set on a Civic. I was helped by Michael, if I remember correctly, who was very nice, kind of quiet, and apparently new. I found only one Civic that I liked enough to test drive, so I did. I was also greeted at some point by a manager named Jorge, who assured me that they were flexible in pricing, and that they would work with me to find something that would suit both of us. I test drove the car (horrible area for a test drive, by the way..) and although it was pretty new, it did not drive as smoothly as the other Civics I'd test driven, and there were scratches all over it. So I made an offer. I did lowball them a bit, since I felt I could (and should) get a better price for an imperfect vehicle. But I was willing to negotiate. The manager who came to talk prices with me, David, responded this to my offer: "No." No counteroffer. Just No. So I offered again. David was unwilling to lower the price even a little bit. Isn't that how negotiation works? I made my final offer and then offered to leave my phone number in case they changed their minds, to which David replied, "For what? What are you leaving your number for?" Very polite. Also, even though I had test driven the car and made it to negotiations, they allowed someone else to test drive it while I was still thinking of taking it. Very rude. What would they have said to the other customer if I had bought the car? "We're sorry we let you test drive it, but it's sold now." Anyway, Jorge came back to negotiate with me as well, and although he dropped the price a little bit, he was unwilling to drop it further even though I pointed out the many scratches on the vehicle. I left this place feeling disappointed, a bit angry, and hopeless. Luckily, later that day, I found a much better used vehicle for a really great price at DCH Montclair Acura. The Civic I found there had about 10,000 more miles on it than the Civic I found here, and yet it drove more smoothly, and didn't really have any scratches. I'm lucky I had that second place to make me happy, because I might have lost my faith in car dealerships forever. So, if you want an okay experience with free hot dogs, come here. But if you want something that works for you more than it works for them, go somewhere else. *Side Note: The car I went in looking for that was already "sold earlier that day" is still listed as "for sale" on various websites like kbb.com and edmunds.com. I can tell because of the VIN number. More

They were there every step of the way and answered all of my questions. Thanks to the help of marleny, they were able to give me a very good deal with a car model and color that i requested. Of course, thanks to big boss John Colarte for making everything possible. These people really knows what quality service means. That's why we keep on coming back and will be coming back again to purchase more cars in the future. EVERYTHING WAS GOOD UNTIL I LEFT THE DEALERSHIP I had leased a car from HUdson Honda a month and half ago, which I thought was the best Customer Service, I was WRONG, After I left a few weeks later I had leased a car from HUdson Honda a month and half ago, which I thought was the best Customer Service, I was WRONG, After I left a few weeks later Brian my sales man calls me to tell me that I was not approved for the lease and so on, Which is hard to believe that the voicemail was other wise. Since then I did not receive my new registration in the mail which I was TOLD that I would just transfer my old plates to the new car which I was not aware of and thats why I did not get the plates, Which then after driving a total of 4 times to the dealer 2 additional times where due the dealership not informing me about my registration that was not going to be sent to my house but the dealer, and the 2nd set of temp plates where going to be expired. On top of everything they sent the payoff for my trade in car to the wrong place and 30 days later my bank calls me to tell me they NEVER RECEIVED IT, Which effected my credit!! . Which I find very odd and suspicious... In addition to these things that should have been dealt with before I left the first day I received the car! I had to fill my own gas up which (Brian) told me if I brought the receipt in they would refund me which I NEVER Received and is still trying to get back! They claim they lost the copy they took from me, my second trip there which is 2 HOUR DRIVE, and when I had agreed to lease I was told once price and when I came back the 2nd time it was another, the finance manager who ills all the paper work out, told me it was because i agreed to tired protection, which she made it seem clear i had to get it in order to lease the car, which was a lie, and now i'm leasing a car for more then i wanted, had issues with my bank, and for what!?!?? If you go here make sure you do a follow up from your bank, do your HW and call back to make sure the paper work was put in properly, I just felt like I was being treated not professionally, These are just minor issues which I think as a customer I should not have to deal with...
