Will, While the city of Houston is going through a pandemic, and now a city-wide power outage/water crisis, you feel like the need to post a negative review that hinders our employees from making an honest living - all because young Will feels "annoyed". We won't be ashamed to phrase it like this, but you're the type of young buyer that we don't want to deal with. You were arrogant, self centered, entitled, just someone that needed to see that life isn't just about you and the vehicle you want. You need to grow up. As for the used '13 Jetta TDI with 84k miles on it. We've replaced the LR Window Bell Molding. You were right, in the pictures on the ad - the chrome stripping near the bottom of the window was perfect. Somehow that same part separated from the base of the window on the exterior door panel. That has been fixed. Secondly, you pointed out the faded paint and scratches. While the vehicle sits outside, it is exposed to heat, dust, rain, and elements that add onto normal wear and tear. In the pictures online, the vehicle was fresh out of the detail station where it had been waxed and made ready for pictures. It's like you taking pictures for your IG and FB, just like you want to look your best, the vehicle is no different. We cant do anything about the gravel. Our staging area holds over 400 cars. Some parking spaces may have a little bit of gravel, but over 90% of it is pavement with parking spaces. No one greeted you because an appointment wasn't arranged by you. We have to practice social distancing and have to allow for ample time for vehicles to be sanitized between test drives out of respect for our community. This isn't just about you, and someone greeting you. We also noticed your attitude over the phone with an associate. I'm sure you get the idea by now. You didn't buy the car and we didn't want to sell it to you.

I contacted you about the car on 1/26, and talked with you on the phone and you were hesitant to even have me look at the car. You didnt want to schedule an appointment even though I was from 4 hours away. I let you know when I had made it to Houston, YOUR request, and then was told "Go to NASA" then I was given an address, the incorrect address, that you do not operate a dealership out of, and had to call you when I arrived to be told "maps does this sometimes, drive down the block and make a left" I finally located the car and told you I was going to be there, and yet with all the correspondence, you didn't even come out. The car was not as advertised. Quit acting like you're more than one person Alex, and be straightforward that you're selling out of a backlot.

Unfortunately we have absolutely no record of you, or the vehicle. We get hundreds of calls from all over the US and abroad. Thus we've had to remodel the way business is conducted out of respect for society, the vehicle, and our own sustainability. We have converted to an appointment only setup. If the appointment isn't arranged, or if financing is still ambiguous, the appointment will be void. All of this is to ensure proper safety, and maintain sanitation standards within the vehicles so that the next appointment isnt put at risk by the previous potential buyer. Vehicles offered for sale can be cross contaminated and are a breeding ground for germs. Which is why we try to limit the number of test drives per vehicle. Again, this is out of respect for society, the new owner, and our business. Reviews left in this environment should be taken with a grain of salt. We are still operating and doing well. A potential buyer who hasnt seen the vehicle, and is posting a review about an appointment system which is still quite fragile and new should be handled with skepticism. You are welcome to set up an appointment, and please let us know about the situation so that proper measures can be taken. We deal with buyers from all over the US and abroad. Without proper communication and identification, we dont know who this can be but we would be more than thrilled to show/sell you a car if everything lines up.
