Terrible Customer Service I recently purchased a 2016 Nissan Versa from Sonora Nissan in Yuma, AZ. I told my salesman Jose that I work out of state a lot and would be leaving a I recently purchased a 2016 Nissan Versa from Sonora Nissan in Yuma, AZ. I told my salesman Jose that I work out of state a lot and would be leaving at the end of the April. I asked if the plates would be ready by the time I had to leave. I was assured they would. I have been waiting for over a month for my plates to come in. I called the dealership on May 8, 2016 and asked if my plates had arrived. I also explained that I was now currently working out of state and my temporary plates were expiring on the 10th. I was informed that they could not provide me with an extension. I paid an extra $12.78 which I was told was due and was informed that the plates would be overnighted via FedEx. The next day I received the FedEx envelope containing only a receipt for my $12.78 and a new registration and sticker. No Plates. I immediately called the dealership again and informed them of the situation. I was told that it was an error due to someone checking the "Transfer Plate" box. After numerous phone transfers, I was told that when I go to my next work area to call the dealership back and give them the new address and they would overnight a plate. The next day (May 10th) I called and gave the dealership my new working address and again was informed they would overnight a plate. On May 10, 2016 my temporary plate was no longer valid and I needed to find a ride to my work via taxi. I called the dealership at 11am and was informed they had sent the plates out today and they would arrive at my destination on May 11th by 3pm. On May 11th at 5pm, I called again to confirm the plates had been overnighted to me. I was assured they were sent out on May 11th. I demanded to speak to a manager and was transferred to Manager Luis Valenzuela who stated I am not going to talk to you (I was very upset and angry) who then proceeded to hang up on me. I called back numerous times to no avail. Finally I spoke again to Luis who stated that the plates were sent out on May 11th at 4pm and would arrive on May 12th by 3pm. For those keeping track... this would be 3 days of taxi cab fares and headaches due to this dealership. 3 days of not being able to drive my brand new car. Also this dealership charged me $250.00 (roughly) for tax, titles and tags which they have not provided as of this review. And I continue to spend money on transportation to my place of employment while my NEW 2016 Nissan Versa occupies a parking space. I would not recommend this dealership. Go elsewhere as it seems customers are not their priority. More
