This is what true customer service is all about! My wife and I were passing through Yuma on our way home when all of a sudden our "Service Engine Soon" light came on. We still had 3+ hours to go befo My wife and I were passing through Yuma on our way home when all of a sudden our "Service Engine Soon" light came on. We still had 3+ hours to go before getting home so we got really nervous about the possibility of being stranded on 110F+ degree weather --without a cellphone signal-- so we immediately picked up the phone and found Sonora Nissan on google. We explained our situation to Rocio --our service advisor-- and she made room in their busy schedule to take our car in. So there we are, at the dealership, without an appointment and anxious about not knowing what to expect. About a couple of hours later Rocio comes out to let us know that our vehicle was being washed and that it should be ready for us in a couple of minutes. She goes on to explain that the only thing wrong with our car was a loose fuel cap. Then we ask for the bill: ZERO. ZILCH. NADA. Wow! We have been going to the same dealership here in Tucson for more than 15 years and we know there is ALWAYS an $80 diagnosis fee, yet Sonora Nissan not only waves the fee but washes our car as part of the inspection process? The dealership here doesn't event wash my cars when I take them in for scheduled service yet these guys take us in without an appointment, inspect our car, reassure us that things are ok and wash the vehicle for FREE? This is customer service at its best. If they weren't three hours from Tucson I would absolutely take both of my Nissans in for service. Thank you very, very much. Robert and Gaby. More
