Josh was the saleman who came and explained all of the new changes to the Soul and he answered all of my questions. He offered a test drive, which I took. He is very knowledgable and courteous with a good sense of humor. We were joined by the finance agent Hector and they both worked with several options over several hours until we reached an agreement. I had to wait for the delivery a couple of weeks. I was kept informed of the progress and accepted delivery of a perfect car. Josh was helpful getting everything from my old car to the new one. Since then I have received several messages expressing thanks and letting me know that I can call the general manager if I experience any problems. This is the second Kia Soul that I have bought from Horne Kia. They are very friendly and helpful. They don't come across with a real agressive hard sell, but have the knowledge to answer questions and give the information you need to make a decision. This is my fourth Kia vehicle and I couldn't be more pleased. I recommend them to everyone. It was a great experience. More
I had my vehicle towed to the dealership for repairs needed. I spoke to Mickey before I had it dropped off there and he assured me a diagnostic would be completed very soon after drop-off. My vehicle was dropped off before 11 a.m. I then called at 12, then 1 and was told someone would call me back within 5-10 minutes. I waited 15 minutes then called back again. When I called back I was put on an extended hold by the lady answering the phone, so long I rang back the dealership. I then called back and got the same lady who then told me I would need to wait five minutes for Mickey to call me back. I waited 10 minutes, Mickey never called back and I was told he was "still with a customer". By then someone else, a man, answered the phone and told me that my battery was "no good" and that I would need to either buy a new one or go to Autozone where I bought it and exchange it before a complete diagnostic could be done. I was flabbergasted! So, I have to go get a battery for you to run a test?! I called AAA and had them come out to do a diagnostic and my battery tested perfectly but my alternator did not, I DID NOT have to go buy a new battery or exchange it for them to tell me that, either. And to add insult to injury, I get in my van when I arrive and it starts right up but my battery is "no good" though?! Wow, I am amazed at how tactless and deceitful this dealership's service department was. Needless to say, I had my car taken to another dealer for repairs. More
I found myself in the unexpected position of having to buy a new vehicle after a not-at-fault accident totaled my vehicle. After having major hassles with two competing Kia dealerships in the East Vall buy a new vehicle after a not-at-fault accident totaled my vehicle. After having major hassles with two competing Kia dealerships in the East Valley (through Costco program referrals) I stopped off to look at Kia Sorento LXs available on lot. I was introduced to Alain that evening and in the limited time before closing that night Alain provided me with complete information on vehicle I was interested in purchasing without having to ask. I followed through next day with Chris Nall. Chris worked with me via email and phone and I got the information I needed without any trouble. Any kinks in the information were worked out quickly and I accepted Horne Kia's offer with plans to stop by that evening to finalize the deal. Chris turned me back over to Alain, who was ready for me and we went through the purchase process without any trouble whatsoever. Alain took me out to vehicle and was very thorough in explaining the features and setting up the hands-free bluetooth features. The finance manager Hector however took a very long time to wrap things up with other customers before me but until he was available Alain stayed with me through the entire process and made sure I was not left stewing while waiting to get the financing papers out of the way. Even when I finally got to sit with Hector he was very low key and no high pressure on selling me the purchase extras. He very politely accepted my "no thanks" for each and immediately moved on to the next matter. AND NOW THE BAD NEWS - Alain ultimately failed to follow through as promised on the requested order and installation of accessories prior to or after delivery. It took over a week to get a response on arrangements for installation of the aftermarket DVD system. By that time, I had gotten price quotes that were initially 400 under what Chris Nall quoted. The actual price for the referred aftermarket installer ended up matching what I was quoted elsewhere - 400 dollars less than what Nall quoted me. When I arrived at the installer, after having made arrangements for the install myself, I found Horne Kia had called after the fact and attempted to have the install presented as 'dealer-arranged' and at the cost adjusted upward to the more expensive dealer quote. The installer quickly confirmed my separately-made arrangements and honored the original less expensive quote he made over the phone to me. The installer also installed free of charge the front hood deflector that I had to buy from a different dealer because Alain failed to follow through on my request for purchase and installation prior to delivery of the vehicle - a nice gesture to compensate for the hassle I had with Horne Kia. Alain also failed to deliver on his promise to secure a set of cross rails to add to my roof rack. I gave him a pretty wide timeframe from date of purchase to the time I needed these rails for a road trip - six weeks. I ended up buying the rails on Costco discount from their Scottsdale-based competitor - and I ended up saving money on the deal because Horne Kia's part prices are approximately 30% higher than what their competitor charges over the counter. So even with the discounted install price I was still $40 ahead of what I would have paid to Horne Kia JUST for the purchase of the cross rails. All in all, I was schmoozed into providing the originally glowing review, but I have to be honest here and relay just how Horne Kia fails to follow through with their customers. I have not been re-contacted by Kia Motors for the satisfaction survey yet (they originally called me while I was in rush-hour traffic and have not to date called me back), but Horne Kia is on notice that I will pull no punches if Kia Motors does ask for my opinion on how I have been ultimately treated by this dealership. Bottom line is that I'll recommend Horne Kia for a satisfactory deal and purchase price, but be aware that they will blow you off after all signatures are on the dotted line. More

Bad! bad! bad!!!! customer service, never have been treated so bad. I brought up and confronted managers that their sales person lied to me about leasing program and he said he worked there for 5 year treated so bad. I brought up and confronted managers that their sales person lied to me about leasing program and he said he worked there for 5 years when in fact he is only in training, lol (of all things to lie about), anyway the managers thought that was so small of a thing that they tried blowing it off like it was not a big deal and they even said "is that all your complaining about". well... I didn't like that reaction and asked to talk to his boss, he didn't like that and was trying to blow it off and change the subject, I wouldn't go for his BS sales tactic and was very persistent with wanting to talk to his boss, so the next comment I got was if you want we can settle this in the back, basically he threaten me. You might say that so hard to believe, well can you imagine what I was thinking. After all, I finally got to talk to Sam Cooper General Manager for about 15 minutes and explained everything that I had gone through with the lies and being threatened, he said and promised me that all parties involve will be talked to, anyway... BFD! to late. Bottom line, if you want bad customer service and a manager with a bad attitude, Horne Kia is the place for you. FYI Horne Kia, I went down the street to Mark Kia and bought a brand new Optima and will be writing and doing a Great review for them. More
